I got an email from flamingo services provided through fiance.com saying my order was compleate meaning she got the gifts.So I called her a few days later and we spoke for awhile and Im thinking why hasnt she said thank you? So I asked her did you like your gifts? she said what gifts? I kind of felt like an ass and even if these companies make it right I will have some distrust in the future and it ruiend the whole surprise for her.Why would they email me saying order complete when it was a lie. somebodys making money! Sometimes it may take anything up to and occasionally over 2 weeks from the UK to any FSU city, but so far "touch wood" the only package thats ever gone missing was some Cadbury`s cream eggs and a card with a couple of photos that I sent to my adopted Ukrainian sister, but when sending to the Ukraine its not unknown for parcels to just vanish !! I have been told by Sis`, and by others there, that often parcels get stolen by postal and customs workers, if they have a use for, or like the look of the contents !! If you want to send to Ukraine they suggest either via a service like Flamingo, or by Fed Ex or similar carrier who will ensure delivery and receipt of a signature for the goods. I know once a parcel leaves the UK our UK postal service don't give a f*ck what happens to it, they don't ask for confirmation of delivery or even provide us with the opportunity to have said service, and couldn't care less whether it ever arrives or not !! But then they wouldn't coz they have our money !! And what can we do about it ? Zip !! Big companies really get on my Tits, they think just because they are big they can treat their customers like dirt !! Well not me they don't !!!!
