A visa is required, that I would need a letter of invitation from an approved tourist organisation, that I would need to obtain the visa from the Kazakh embassy/consulate in my country and should my country not have a Kazakh embassy/consulate then I may buy my visa upon arrival in KZ but that I must arrive via one of the designated airports listed. I thought you meant meet a Russian girl from Russia in Kazakhstan as Russian citizens do not require a visa to visit Kazakhstan. Much like you'd meet a Russian girl from Russia in a 3rd country such as Turkey, Egypt or Ukraine. You meant meet a Russian girl already living in Kazakhstan. Yes, there are many ethnic Russians still living in Kazakhstan though I have heard many of them have returned to Russia or emigrated to other countries. The reason I say: “might” is that I turned her down, because it was impossible at that time of year,,, but thought maybe in a couple of months,,, she didn’t wait. I had checked out the Maldives and Seychelles,,, one place was in conflict at the time,,, and the other soon after. The prices ranged from 37usd to 2,700USD per night,,, my hopes were in the 200 to 300usd per night range. Mexico and Cuba were on the list,,, and she mistakenly thought I could go to Cuba. Flying down to Cancun would be relatively safe,,,,, but traveling outside of the tourist area becomes risky. Carjackings are common place in Mexico City and in border towns.
