After spending a lot of time on the Hot Russian Brides site i can say that I think the ladies are absolutely stunning. I've been on other sites and sure they have great looking ladies but Hot Russian Brides is incredible. I haven't met anyone in person yet but I've really enjoyed the process.
"It's a tough call on this site. Sadly I've been on for 9 years. I've spent thousands. Maybe it's a drug for me and it feeds my ego to have all these ladies write and chat with me. But I'm always suspicious. They have very smart programmers who develop this site. When I log on… I immediately get 100 chat requests… These ladies come on like gnats. I think it's all their agencies and/or interpreters writing half the time. Most say they know some English…but they can't meet you unless they are chaperoned by an interpreter. That's a drag. I've been to Odessa 5 times. I usually go on 2-5 dates when I'm there… Then I just party and try to pick up ladies in town or at Arcadia night club. It's easy and they are super friendly. Yes, some might be hookers. It happened once and she stole from me. :(("
"One can not ever be sure until you meet in public. Or once you get her personal details you can try and google her. I have met a few girls in person and none were married or had boyfriends. They all wanted and seemed sincere about getting hitched. Only beef I have is the constant chatting they promote which as you said can be VERY expensive. If I'm interested in them I suck it up and pay the $60 for their personal details and then I try to skype with them. Those that don't want to skype or IM after that I think are just there to chat and are getting paid by the agencies. The mother ship claims they don't allow this ... But they can't control the little mom and pop agency in Odessa or in some toilet of a city from doing this. If I was living in Ukraine I would do the same. I chatted with a hooker at a restaurant in Odessa once and she said many agencies recruited her to sit there and chat with morons like me, lol .... Happy Hunting !"
"Believe me gentlemen, HRB is the biggest POS scam. Please do not give your money to these people. I was used for 2 years, 1000's of $. Yes, it was like a drug receiving all of these letters from these "hot" women and us sincere guys, looking for a wife and family, just fall for it. I went to Ukraine twice and dated the ladies, but OMG, they were never like the person I was chatting with everyday. It was like a different personality. I even became engaged with the second one and was coming back to Ukraine so we could get married and 3 days before I was to depart, she writes me to say that she had found another man and was in love. I was sending her $600/month to prepare for our wedding. So, guys, save your hearts and your money and do not give these people a dime of your hard earned money. Best advice I can give you: go to Ukraine for an extended period of time and meet someone naturally. Don't go through any agency because 99% of them are scammers as well. I took my own advice, and now I am happily married to my Ukraine dream girl and we are expecting our first baby. Good luck to all, because a true Ukraine wife is the best in the world."
"I met my wife through the HotRussianBrides website. I believe this website collects profiles from other agencies although I do not know this for sure. You have to be realistic in your expectations. My wife is 11 years younger than I am. We exchanged emails for 3 years and over this time period I visited her 3 times in Ukraine. You can't expect the website or the agencies you work with to provide free services. Each time I traveled to Ukraine it cost me approximately $4000 including airplane tickets, train tickets, apartment rental, agency fees, and so on. We have been married for about a year and a half. It took about 1 year of paperwork and waiting to get the fiance visa. If you are serious about meeting someone from overseas it can be done, but it is not cheap."

Eastern European countries aren't that expensive once you've arrived. A K-1/K-2 visa should had not taken 1 year.
Avoid paying for dating sites if possible. It best to travel and discover. And if she is on the Visa Waiver program, not paperwork needed.
