From the CIA World Factbook, that ratio is about right, but it is not much different than any other country. Men have a higher mortality rate Women outnumber men. That gap gets bigger in the later years. Ukraine actually has men outnumbering the women from ages 25-30. Then, the women catch up and pass in the later years. But, in the streets of Kiev, Zaporozhye and Crimea, I did a count by observation. The women outnumber the men by at least 5 to 1.
