LOL, scammers galore but you'll survive to continue getting scammed :)
I particularly liked Nikolaev because the layout of the city is square, not so far to walk anywhere, as opposed to the other extreme of Zaporozhye, I think the longest main street in Europe and then some, across the largest dam in Europe to the other part of the city on the other side of the river not forgetting Cossack Island inbetween.
It must be some 15 years since I occupied time in Nikolaev but I enjoyed my time there, I enjoy bowling and their bowling club served some pretty good food, not regularly easy to find in Ukraine, served by pretty waitresses wearing somewhat skimpy uniforms.
How about Covid-19 in Uzbekistan? ... I could do with going to Tashkent again, I still remember the little ol' men with their charcoals on street corners cooking lamb shashlik with marianated onions and freshly baked Uzbek bread, twice I occupied time in Uzbekistan and for one of those times I don't recall the girlfriend and I eating anything other than shashlik, I loved the stuff!
