This question was asked of me by the boss of the agency that my Natasha uses, and to be totally honest when she explained why she asked it I had no option but agree with her !! She said: "In Ukraine it is national occupation to scam western men !! Many thousands of these women are on scam sites all over the internet, and yet men still go blindly into relationships and send money to these women, only to join a long list of men who feel bitter about getting scammed. These women are not subtle about their site photos either, low cut tops, close to naked photos, it really is not pretty to see some of these photos, why are men really so stupid that they fall for these women ?" She further said: "On scam sites you hardly ever see women from Russia, most probably 90% are Ukraine, and in Siberia we have 1000`s of women who want a good man and will never think to deceive a man for money, why don't more men look and come here ?" Well fellas, its a few damn good questions !! OK, so these Ukraine women are gorgeous, and revealing in their photos, but whats the use of that if they are not sincere, real or all they want is your money !!!! These Ukraine scammers really know how to appeal to the little head !! Shouldn't we start thinking with our big heads a lot more, and put these dirt bags out of business ? If no one falls for their scams they wont stay around for long !! With the high percentage of scammers there, the chances of finding a good woman are very very low, and Glad, I do not in any way mean Inna, you are one of the Very Very lucky guys, but for the one you who was damn lucky, and your one Inna who is a rare breed in that country, there are thousands and thousands of bad ones !!! gladiatorUK Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 4/28/2004 2:38:45 PM   I know I'm a lucky "B" mate,and I do agreee with a lot of the points raised there,not too sure about 90% on the scam sites though.....but I'm not gonna split hairs....:)) Guess the trip was good one huh? My experience was that it was a total wind up, I went with an agency and it was like going on holiday, day trips arranged, interpreter and of course accomodation, after about 10 days there I realised that most of the women were professional letter writers. The lady I went to see actually admitted to me at the end of the trip ( chemistry wasn't there ) that they got commission for virtually everything I did while I was there, ie eat at a restaurant, she got 20% kickback, trips she got 10$, even money exchange she got 1%, she was nice lady, but marriage really wasn't on her mind, she was collecting 20 to 50$ from numerous western guys for writing and English lessons, her English by the way was nearly zero. I liked her spirit though, we still keep in touch via EMail, to her it was just a job, making her world go round, I didn't see her as a bad person, she didn't think men should be so stupid to send her money , but said they have plenty so why not. I suppose I felt a degree of sympathy for her really, she didn't really like doing it, but felt it was the best of poor options, she posts with photos that are about 3 years old, she was surprised I even visited, because I didn't send any money, she said most just send money then don't come, she said that about 4 to or 5 men visited her each year, but she writes to as many as 20 which I found astonishing, but she had file of all my letters, so I presume she had the same for others. Needless to say I had no further plans about going again, it almost put me off the whole thing at the time, but even to this day I find it hard to condemn her, even though its bad, her point was that she is only a pawn in the game between agency and client, she said if she didn't do it, some other woman would milk the clients, her view was that men were creating the problem by sending the money, she said at the agency most of the younger girls were doing it, and the agency knew it, but were happy if it attracted visits where they could milk them for accomodation and interpretor costs. Is it better or worse anywhere else, who can say? It all eaned in a heap of shyte and at the end of the day, all she wanted was a visa. Now, All her Russian friends at school talked about getting there visas and then a devorce. I also know a Ukraine girl who is a devoted wife to her man and generally has a better manner than all the Russians I know. So, I have looked in Siberia and even though it is so cold, I got burnt extra crispy. I think that the rules we have talked about for scammers aplies to all scammers regarless of nationality. I never write to girls with these sexy photos you speak of regardless of what country she is from. To steroe type Ukraine woman is a little harsh in my opinion as you can be burnt by woman from any country. I am glad for you, though I am not quite agree with your opinion that All ukranian women are scammers. I agree with ID. We should not generalize and judge by the nationality. In every country there are sincere, nice ladies and in every country/ region there may be scammers. And the reason why there are more reports and black lists about Ukrainian women is simple: havent you noticed that there are much more ladies from Ukraine than from Russia on every dating site. So it is natural that the percentage of scam cases is higher. And the reason why there are more Ukrainian ladies involved (to my mind) is that economical situation is worse there. Ladies have to look for better opportunities to be able to provide a decent life for their children. And some people (very “clever” and not honest) do business on it. In most cases ladies even don’t know that somebody writes letters on their behalf. Sometimes ladies ask money on internet café and translations services because they really can’t afford it. And they get to black lists and not always they deserve it. We carried on without you but it just wasn't the same. A couple of the Ukranians that I corresponded with were clearly insincere and angling for something. It seemed plain as day. Also it seems that the Ukranian men grossy exploit and abuse their women and girls big time. How about those Moldavians though? I know that mine is the real deal. You only have to look at mine and tims past experiences to undersand that. By the way, I have had dealings with 2 ukraine girls who I think were scammers but so what. I got rid of them. I was burnt in Australia once too, should I give up on females altogether. If you could find every guy who ever got scammed doing this, I think you would see that more than 1 country was involved. So you had two scammers from Ukraine Tim, is glads girl the only geniun girl in Ukraine. You point may be valid but you did not think this before you went away. Why waste more time bashing the FSU scammers? Tim is the only one I know of who got burnt by an FSU woman all the way through marriage. It sort of makes the exception more than the rule, doesn't it? Yes there Must be some good women in Ukraine, after all, Glad found one !! But they are much rarer and harder to find then you might think !!! I dont write to Ukraine women at all as it happens, I never have since I met those 2 scammers and that was over 2 years ago now, I just dont have the time and patience to wade through all the scammers and the bullshit to come out the other end empty handed again !! Maybe they have there own motive. Not many people go to Siberia, they tend to stick to more well known places. Good pr for them. I am not down on them, I would say the same thing if I were them. lets face it, I am the biggest sinic here, I distrust every one and look at the bad side of everything but I talk about these girls from my experiences in my own city here. I have met a lot of russian woman and a lot seem to have the bigger visa scam in mind. I would rather loose some money in Ukraine than loose my house in Austrlia. Nobody knows these girls 100%. Some people are married to western women for 10 years and get burnt. My point is, keep your radar up for all countries. What realy coart my attention tim was the bit were this person said, "there are thousands of woman her looking for a husband and would never think to deceive a man for money" like thats some sort of garentee, PLEASE!
