This girl lived in Krasnoyarsk Russia. The weird thing with her is that she never received the flowers at her office either. She was vague with me as to why she never received them. Also she would not provide me with her home phone number or address although she gave me her work info. She definately had the hots for me, and did not have many others who had written to her. I figured that she must have a live-in Russian boy friend. I could have been wrong. She was very cute but I think she may have been a bit on the simple side. Anyhow if any one wants her id number I'll gladly give it. Maybe I did her wrong - I hope not.
What was even weider was that she had two listings on this site. Some of the pictures were identical, her height and weight and profiles were pretty much the same - but her last name, birthdate, and religion was different on the two profiles. I brought this to the attention of the site administrators but they did not get to far with it.
I think I recall you doing that Ens, and I am sure I recall having a look at the profiles at the time too.
I didnt know you were in Lugansk Ptichka !! Ive been to your city about 2 years ago, I have fond memories of the Druzba hotel and Silvers reataurant !! Their food was exceptional !!! :o))
Yes Matrix is still open, and is rather popular:))))))
Silver restaurant and hotel Druzba still works too:))))
So how did you like the city in general????
The people I met were lovely (apart from a small group who I know are bad people) The city sadly suffers from neglect, and it angered me greatly to see how beautiful and renovated Kiev is in comparrison !! It appears that the governing bodies dont send any funds to cities like Lugansk as they dont care about renovating such cities, only about making Kiev beautiful ;o///
I have also seen a beautiful train in Omck that was built in Lugansk, I have a phot or two of it too :o))
Lugansk I know was a steel producing city in CCCP days, and for some reason now noone cares about what happens in yoru city, it is very sad :o///
Matrix was very popular when I was there too :o)) And to anyone going to Lugansk I would recommend the Druzba very highly, the rooms are beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly :o))
Your city has some beautiful parks and memorials Ptichka, I liked very much the ststue of the flying birds with the soldier (I dont know its name sorry) And the one outside the fire station. But my favorite was the "Madonna and child" on the main centre street, very beautiful :o))
The bowling club "Babylon" was beautiful too, and the food was fantastic. On the whole I liked Lugansk, but it sadened me to see Kiev after Lugansk and to see how bad some places in Lugansk are :o//
Well we're the province city after all, 800 kms away from Kiev, but the city's government try to renovate it the possible way. It changed a lot during the last 2 years. And it would change much more if we had another city's mayor:)
But the streets are changing.
Oh yes when the monument to the "Deva Maria with a child" (Madonna) was opened there were many people at that day. And still it is the most popular monument after the monument to Shevchenko, and the new-married couples always make pictures at these 2 monuments:))))
And there are always flowers near these 2 monuments;)))
They take photos in the gardens of the Druzba too :o))
Which has some rather interesting sculptures. (Guys, dont miss seeing these even if you dont stay at the hotel :o)
Im not so sure you know :o))
In Omck last saturday in the space of 20 minutes we watched 6 brides and grooms have their photos taken in the "Park of Victory" and there were more weddings arriving as we left too !! Very very busy :o))
Oh I didn't know that Omsk is so big:) I just got used to Lugansk, not a very big city, sometimes fast sometimes slow, and I really enjoy this way of life:) You just can have enough rest when you want and this is a great + for this city, IMHO:)
Compared to Lugansk Omck is huge honey !!
And its spread over 2 banks of a very deep river, (about 40 metres deep at the middle I was told !!) I was amazed at its size !!
Its about 1/2 a kilometre wide in most places, and when I arrived it was frozen solid !! 4 inches of ice at least as there were people walking on it, bashing holes and fishing through the ice !! But the weather was warm.
Then 3 days later the ice began to melt and then I saw how fast thet river flows !!! It must have been very very cold to have frozen it in the first place as it flows very quickly indeed. Once the ice began to melt the temperature in the city dropped by about 4 degrees !! It was very strange as you would expect it to feel warmer, but I was told that it is always the same every year, when the ice begins to melt the wind gets colder and the city too !!!
:))) Have never seen the ice melting on the river in my life, but I guess Lugansk is more on the South then Omsk, right???? Or not, I'm not very good in geography.
But we also have our own floods at the spring time, and it gets colder a little bit, not so much, the the air gets more fresh.
wow, I would freeze over like a block of ice. it never gets any colder than 30 degrees here in the coldest of winter. I havent seen snow since 1993. Thats one reason I waited until June to go to Russia
