The site that I know they have currently is www angelsofukraine com and is basically just a gallery of a few of the women that the agency represents. I am not sure of any other websites right now but they work with Fiance.com through their systems. The Yahoo email is legit. It is the personal email address of their director and I personally sat in their office and watched her check it. Anyone in the world can request an email address from anyplace else as long as they have internet access. So having a Yahoo email address or inbox.ru address or anything else doesn't mean legitimacy or non-legitimacy in a smaller agency. Their directory just happened to have an email mailbox at Yahoo. The service was fine and I have no complaints and was very pleased with them. Just remember they aren't some mega agency. They do what they can for you but keep in mind that they are real people too and don't have a huge staff. They often get busy, especially when they are arranging apartments and helping visitors to Kiev. That means that the staff must be out of the office and may not be available directly for immediate answer of emails, etc. But they do always answer when they have time to stop and breath and always come through with their promises. Most of the women that they actively represent they know directly. Many of the ones I know are listed here in Fiance.com they have become friends with personally, speak regularly to them and their families, etc. After any meeting with a man they usually do a follow up call with the girl and her family to see how things went, get feedback, impressions, etc. So they do everything they can to protect all of their clients, both male and female and try and find the happiness for both of them. I don't blame her for being upset. We set up the call with her agency, I sent the money, I sat at home waiting for a call from the agency. When the time past I checked my mesaages and she had said she was waiting on me to call. So we were both waiting on each other.This was to be my first call,no one had told me I should call. I thought this was what the agency did as service. It was a misunderstanding that the Agency are also a party to. However with such things, it may (with hindight - always a lovel thing) have been better to clarify the particulars of the call with them, a practice they should do by default. * Who calls who? * When do they call? * How much will it cost? * How long will the call last? * What number should be dialled? etc etc It may sound anal to some, but attention to detail can often minimize such problems. I would think that she should see that it was a simple misunderstanding. Make sure you let the agency know what happened and tell them your a little pissed that they didn't clarify that with you. Maybe they can help to explain to your lady what happened. I'm sure she should forgive you. You want to hear a good screwup I did, so don't feel bad.. I never needed a passport or a visa before in my life. I had no idea one came before you can get the other. I thought everything came at once. (now whos the big dummy) This is something I didn't pay attention to and now I'm paying for it. Well everything is planned and I screwed everything up because I never applied for my passport!!! Well that was about a month ago and I'm still waiting for it so I can get my dam visa! I am hoping it gets here any day. My dates already set.. Shes expecting me on the 7th of next month and here I am like an IDIOT still waiting for it! I still havent gotten my plane tickets yet. I feel if I do that I'm going to screw myself yet again, yet each day that dam flight ticket goes up in price. She knows and she is very worried. But she does understand because I explained to her everything. But I will tell you she IS still expecting me there on the day we planned, and I am praying everything works out. I am only just applying for my tourist visa which should take about 2 weeks (so I am led to believe). Hotel & Flight tickets will not be finalised UNTIL my visa is confirmed and in my hand but even they, they are already lined up so it will just be a question of finalising dates and getting Uncle Tim, to pay for them. I hope she would understand and if not she is not the lady I am looking for. That is the disappointment of it all. I did write an email to the agency. I have not got the answer. Am sure this has been answered before but cant find it. ccan i obtain a relativly open visa in preparation for when i decide when and were i am going? my commitments at work are stoping me making plans and it would be great if i could go on a few days notice. If i can have the visa now and decide later it would be cool. dma Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 5/4/2004 5:00:52 PM   I have not confirmed my "actual" arrival and "departure" date but I "know" this will fall somewhere between the 30 days that the tourist visa allows a period I have set from 12th June to 11th July. The Sponsor is RussiaDirect and they effectively book you in their hotel (I think) but you are not obligated or fixed to any given place during your stay, as long as you notify of the changes. I will stay in a Hotel of my choice (registering in Moscow), then travel away, which "tehnically" you're supposed to re-register (but no-one really cares) and then again when back in Moscow (Hotel again, which would cover my period away in an apartment, if I get one) but so long as you've been registered "once", your visa effectively becomes valid.
