I was wonderig if you guys can give me some insight on 2 women. The first one I have been corresponding with for a little over a month now. In that time she hasn't asked me for anything. Her parents drop in for a visit according to her. She asked me for some recipies for my favorite dishes so that she may cook them for her parents. She said she was going to use this to bring me up to them. I thought ok cool. 2 weeks go by with nothing. I sent her a couple emails in that time. No answer. So I start going over all our past emails and noticed something I missed in her very first email to me. In her initial email she introduces herself as Natasha. Then all emails after that she says her name is Olga. That raised some red flags for me. I finally get an email from her. It's a copy of her last email to me with only a line added to it at the top. Sent her a reply asking if she was ok and if she was aware that she had already sent me that email a while ago. Also brought up the name thing. Should be suspicious of this one? Ok the second girl I have been corresponding with for a little over 2 weeks. Thinsg seemed to be going great with her aswell until I get her last email on friday. She's telling me how happy she and her daughter as that we have met and all that. Then towards the end of the email she writes this: "Now I test to you strong feelings. I want to tell to you, that I want to present the grandmother a microwave. This gift I want to do from us a two. You can help me to buy it? Why I ask you about the help because my salary will be only at the end of this month, in a week. Money which I had we with Darina already have spent for a meal and on many other things. The good microwave costs $400 I to you I shall be grateful mine dear if you to send me of money for a gift. " I sent a reply to her voicing my concerns whith her request and spelling out the obvious reasons behind my concerns. I even had a discussion regarding scamers in my 3rd email to her. So she is fully aware of my cautious and suspicious nature when it comes to things like this. I haven't gotten a reply yet. I exspect one tomorrow if I get one at all. Oh! There's a 3rd girl I have been corresponding with and wonder about her. We have been writing emals back and forth for 1 month. We have send voice recording to eachother many times. She's professing her love for me and wishes for us to be together. The other 2 girls have made me a bit gunshy sort a speak. She has never once mentioned my coming to visit her or asked for gifts. On the contrary she has asked me to wait 3 months because she can not afford to come visit me right away due to how little she gets paid. This kinda floored me. Her emails are always full of energy and passion. Her only demand of me is that I write her regularly which I do. So what do you guys think? I am soo confused and dissapointed that I need to be somewhat of a detective when it comes to these three women... These women contacted me directly via a profile I have on a singles site meant for local people to get together and have fun. I must say this experience has been an interesting one for sure. With who`s money ? be careful, but dont ditch this lady at the moment, the reason I say be careful is the age old "visa and tickets scam" many mentions of this on many forums and web sites. Number 2 hasn't gotten back to me and I don't espect to. Her request has placed too much doubt in my mind to allow for anything. I'm concidering this one out of the running. I am being 100% upfront with her. I let her know though we seem to like eachother fine doing the email thing that I need more time to get to know her and need to go see her to see if there truly is any chemistry between us. She seems to have understood. I was expecting her to get upset or bothered. I give that line to local girls and man they think I'm rejecting them. Go figure! And until you do go and see her, Neither of you can even begin to be sure about anything, so make your trip as soon as possible, that way if the spark isnt there, you havnt wasted months and can begin again as soon as you get back. I am certain of one thing though, it would be a lot cheaper to buy the microwave yourself and fedex it to her grandmother (if she exists). But then again, hell no! That would be a waste of money. For $400 you can have a lot more fun in Amsterdam. Meet her first, and even after you meet her, be careful giving her money; in fact, run away. Even if she turns out to be all she says she is, do you really want to support her long and extended family the rest of your life? Number three seems cool though; I would be very curios to find out if she is for real. The other one, the one changing names...she seems to be running a scam of chain letters; so, I would stay away from her too. Anyway, has anybody had any luck finding a girl who is for real? I have been a member for only a few days, and I am starting to think that some of these girls get paid for every letter they receive. Give this newbie some feedback please. I didnt see this post before now Groon. Havnt you read the stories of men who get hooked and scammed from "free to post" sites ? Not only by FSU women I must add !! I know a few who have been scammed by western women on these loser sites too !!! You have absolutely NO safeguard or protection against Anything !! If none of your ladies coninues to be worthy, I strongly suggest you ditch the lot and look on a better site to find a good woman, ie fiance.com !!! VERY few women on free to post sites are honest and sincere, is it really wise to play the odds when you Know they are stacked rediculously against you ? Dax, Yes, many of us have had success, and a few have had failures, even with women we have met and married !!! But its a very Big numbers game, the more failures you have the greater your chances of success next time, and of course the greater you knowledge of what can go wrong and how to avoid it !!! I do remember one from some south african woman. Oh man she wove a neat tale and man... I was born at night but not lastnight! I sent her a reply advising her to work on her creative writing. LOL Anyways, I dunno I never intended to correspond with women outside my country. It's a nice idea. I guess in a way it can be viewed as romantic but oh man since I've been looking into this whole scene the more I am convinced it's one crazy ride. I'm still a bit paranoid about this but she's been stright with me as far as I can tell. No warning flags yet. So for now I am giving her more rope. If you're unsure about "the one" then coordinate the trip with a tour. My trip in April was one of the best times of my life. The tour saved my otherwise bad trip. I can't wait to go back this fall. There are plenty of nice girls here at Fiance that have no one to write to them. Those domestic dating sites that "girls" have been contacting you at, are known for their scammers who go their because they know that they will find a man who is not savvy to the FSU dating scene and therefore be easy prey for them. ....But keep in mind there are a few good and honest Fsu girls on those sites too. They go their because it is free too post a profile and I have known FSU girls recommend these sites to each other as a place for an honest girl to find an honest man, not knowing that they will have to contend with their scamming sisters who proliferate those sites. ................But it aint that bad!!!!! Anyway Goon, I have noticed maybe a little bit of mistrust about the whole thing, so, even if you were to find a Russian girl who could speak perfect English, you would always wonder if she is playing you every time she has to communicate with someone on her native language. Thus, I would advise you to take this just as a way of having some fun, and not a way to find a wife. But that is just my opinion. I can also read people very well. I'm sure after spending some time with any of these women the mistrust would go away. The english is just so that we can actually communicate. I know plenty of forgien women here. It's the same. You can learn alot about someone by just talking to them and reading all of what they are saying. This includes body language. I did a little law enforcement in my past and this skill served me well. :-) I can usually smell a BS artist a mile away. I have the opposite trouble, I have 3 who I cannot find fault with no matter how hard I try.
