ok guys, questions for the all knowing veterans here.
Is there any limit to what I can bring in: jewelry, camera, etc...
My mother and my daughter already bought her a few things and I need to know for what I got for her myself. Dam shes going to be spoiled if she decides to come, lol
Also, what is the luggage weight limit for Pulkovo airlines??
My whole family expects me to bring stuff back for them now (i new it was coming) I dont want to give away whats left in my wallet if I am over the weight limit. My suitcase is already heavy as hell and it just has my clothes in it so far!
Anything else I might have forgotten to mention will be very welcome info.

as far as I know they are quite lenient about bringing gifts in.......make sure you declare em tho!
There may be a upper limit (value wise),but there is absolutely nothing to stop you saying the camera etc etc is yours, although you might struggle to explain more "personal" items.
As for weight limits I think Tim can relay his experiences with weight limits inside Russia.
I agree with Glad...declare everything!
....Specially if you're bringing her sexy lingerie!!
On the other hand, I would pay to see the facial expression of an FSU customs officer when you try to explain you enjoy wearing sexy lingerie on a chilly evening, lol...

I'm reminded of a classic "Kids in the Hall" episode.
The husband is dressing for work, and his wife questions him about a pair of earings on the dresser.
The husband looks and quickly responds "They're mine!".
Wife: They're yours!?
Husband: Yeah, it's the 90's. Men wear earings, too!
Wife: But you don't have pierced ears!
Husband: Of course I do! (takes earings and proceeds to push them into his ear lobes with blood spurting everywhere)
How do they look? (hiding incredible amounts of pain)
Next scene the husband is at the water cooler at work and several men are gathered around. As the men walk around, you notice that many of the men are wearing garters, slips, etc.
However, a man walks into the room wearing TWO neckties.
When questioned, he responds nervously: What? It's the 90's! Lots of men wear two neckties!

"As for weight limits"
Inside the FSU isnt the problem, a small bribe sorts those out, its the going in and coming out where they will sting you !!
Its usually 20 to 25kg limit, so try to be under it !! It will say on your ticket what your limit is mate.
Put valuables and valuable gifts in hand luggae !! DO NOT trust the baggage staff, they DO steal things !!
