But she doesn't want her family or her 14 year old daughter to know she is writing an american and will be meeting him in Moscow, the 1st of August for a week.-----------ANY thoughts Armando-Kazan sent out form letters witout the ladies even knowing who they were being sent to. I guess if they got someone they like, who writes them back , they would write the guy back. HOWEVER, the agency puts a lot of pressure on the girls to reply to all responses from men.-----My gal has to commute 40 miles to get to her agency in Kazan. I sort of believe she wants to write or she wouldn't make that kind of trip. She writes 3 times a week. The first response I got from her(that she actually sent) said she had relatives in Moscow and could I meet her there this summer. I thought that was alful quick,lol------ Any thoughts Then last week (we've been writing a month) she said it would be nice if she could stay at the hotel with me. I told her she could and she offered to be my tour guide even though she doesn't hardly know any english. It said she was fluent on her profile. She did suggest that we get an handheld electronic translator. When I said I probably couldn't get one around here she said she would try to pick one up------ Well, her birthday is this Sat. and I bought her two watches and earrings. About $260.00. the only way I knew to send them to her was UPS and they charged $118.00 to send one pound to Kazan and would only insure it for $100.00, lol.I sent her $30.00 for an handheld translator----Any experience with one of them????? WELL i figure I'm 50 and I deserve a present. I got airline tickets, hotel res., passport, visa soon,and the number to a bunch of female escorts in case my gal is just a gold digger. If my gal is only interested in shopping for stuff for her and just spending money blindly; I'm sending her back to Kazan early and finding me an escort to show me the sites by day and by night. If you know what I mean. I will NEVER take a trip to FSU to meet a woman, unless she is not only willing, but proud to introduce you to her inmediate family, specially her parents....and her mother being the most important. I will never send expensive gifts like you have to someone I have not met yet...Two watches??? Tsk tsk tsk... Being able to afford it or not is irrelevant. you're already setting the stage for this to become your most expensive international vacation. When a scammer FSU or western woman shows her true colors I invariably let her know I have a lot of money in the bank....but also that she is not getting any of it!!! She deceided this on her own without any impute from me. And it is costing her about 100 USD to meet me in moscow. Out of her own pocket. Found out she had had plans to visit relatives there in August for a while now. She just thought at first, it would be nice if I could be there at the same time. After a month of letter writing she mentioned it would be nice if we could be at the hotel together. For long walks and convience. Her relatives are long train ride from my hotel. Now, everything seems more reasonable to me. As for her being a scammer---I found out I didn't send her enough money to get electronic translator. She paid for half of it. I'm beginning to think I've got a reasonable shot at finding a good thing. As far as spending a lot of money on trip, her, ect. I have kids still at home. Don't get to go anywhere often. When I do I like to go ist class and pay for it later. Don't we all love credit cards, lol. I have read all the past postings you guys have left and without them and your experiences, I wouldn't of gotten up the nerve to go. Thanks AND TIM, I've been called a dick before, lol. It's not the nation, it's the way of thinking, and soviet people can think out things, any foreigner would never think about", and then he goes on telling things, which we here got used to so much that they are the part of our life, and we don't think they are extraordinary, but to the rest of the world they may seam like that.
