Total irrelevance to the subject of FSU women and information to those looking for a wonderful companion from the FSU. Olga, have you been on vacation or have you just lost interest in controlling what happens here??? I have read some of the posts since I left and I have to say what a joke. There has really been nothing useful going on here and I am turned off by the bullshit you people ramble on about. This forum is for helping men looking for a bride from the FSU, not some kind of chatroom for a bunch of nonsense. I see many newbies have drifted in, and unless you have been to the FSU, please.... shut the hell up and take advise from those of us that have been there. I can't stop laughing at what I have been reading. First of all Russian people are very proud of their country and their culture. Any decent Russian lady does not need or want to leave her country for any man. They are here to look for love they can't find where they live, period. If any of you think they need or want to be with any of you just because you live in another country or have cash flowing out your ass think again, you are going to come home very disappointed. Fortunatly I don't need this site anymore and I thought I would return here to share helpful info to the friends I have made here and help in any way I can before you go. To my friends: Guys, I had a wonderful time and there was nothing better than immersing myself into the Russian culture and experiencing all that I can while I was visiting. My "fiance" =)))) took wonderful care of me and she is everything I hoped she would be and yes... we fell in love and we cant wait to be together again in less than a month. We will meet in another country where we can be alone and enjoy eachothers company. When I say alone I mean without the help of our agency, and her family. Not that theres anything wrong with any of them. Our agency was great, and very professinal. Her family is wonderful and after they met me and seen that I was all that she she had explained to them they embraced me as one of their own. What wonderful people they all are! I consider them all as part of my family now and I look forward to the day I go back to visit with them. But for now "our" relationship is most important. Any details of our relationship I am not posting to this public forum, it is private and frankly none of your business. But I would share any advise and help I can, but now I don't know... This place has become irrelevant and many of you here really need to get a life. If you dont speak Russian... You WILL need to hire a translator, if you don't you are a fool. Mark my words and heed my advise. My new family really enjoyed teaching me Russian words and I learned alot from them while I was there. We all laughed so much at my ability and desire to know their language. They are such great people and I have a respect for Russians I never new existed. I really never realized how much our government does not tell us about Russian people and thir culture. I find it to be sickening. You all that have never been there have no idea what you will experience. Go!!!!!! And dont think that just because you are not from Russia that you woman is just going to jump in bed with you!!! Its just not true and if she does I would question her and her intention. Good Russian ladies are not "easy" and if they are I would wonder about what their history is. I saw some of the most beautiful women while I was there, and thats no lie! I saw sights that I would have never dreamed to see in my life!! Anyway, I might return to see if things change around here, if not, I bid you all farewell and good luck in your searches. Olga, I advise you to straighten this place up and get rid of all these irrelevent and stupid posts I have read. It really turned me off to this site, and if something doesnt change right away this will be my final post. I found my second half and I love her with all my heart!! =))) Good luck to all... While I am heading to Moldova in July, I would be interested to continue to hear about your trip to Russia. All you have said thus far is getting me even more psyched for my trip and meeting with Lucy. We will be spending 2 1/2 days with her family, then it is the two of us alone for a week. I am trying to add three days to my stay if I can get an extension without paying a fortune. It is good for me that Lu speaks English quite well (we speak on the phone 1 to 3 times daily) and continue to write. Crash, do you have a time frame in mind for tying the knot? How many more visits with her do you anticipate. I am planning at least one or 2 more trips aftyer this one. It may seem premature, but we are already discussing the prospects of marriage. Still plkenty of real decent gents here still - crash, man, ben, scott, dale etc.. Regarding this forum, it has been pathetic for some time. I do not read most of the crap, and I rarel post here. I am hoping he won't mind my placing excerpts of his letter to me on the froum as much is very pertinant and helpful. I completely agree with you about this forum. I didnīt gave any posts here, because it was more a chat-room than a place for exchanging important advices and supports. In opposite to most of the mates here, I am frequently travelling to eastern Europe since years due to business reasons. So I naivly thought to give a good input here. Some of my infos seemed to be useless in the mind of some guys - but I stand on my opinion, that you will only understand your beloved one, if you have a knowledge of the background of the eastern europe countries. You expressed it well with your phrase, how much was hide from your former governments about former USSR. But also I must tell you, that with only one visit to Russia, it will be completely impossible to learn the russian mentality. You wrote, that also russian women will leave their countries only because the reason of "love". I agree with you on well-situated ladies from bigger cities like St. Peter and Moscow. But the overwhelming majority of women still is looking for any way to leave the poverity of their countries. It may change, if that countries will step-by-step reach a higher level of wealthyness - but it will take many years more. During the last years I spoke for sure with hundreds of different kinds of women about this topic, so I am sure about my opinion. ensata: I think about the publishing of my letter to you here. But for sure without the mistakes in writing :-) Ptichka: me being a german citizen I partly disagree with your opinion. You, as an ukrainian lady will know for sure about the ukrainian history since the last 70 years. As far as I know, more ukrainian citizen have been killed of Stalinīs represseive system towards Ukraine than of Nazi-regime. After WWII many ukrainian prisoners prefered to keep staying in Germany and not to return to Ukraine and soon after to be deported to Siberia. Always, when I had conversations with pure native Ukrainians, they refused to be described as russians. And they are a bit mixed in their emotions about WWII. Sure you know about the story of General Wlassovīs army. Yes I know that many people prefered to stay in Germany, and I would agree with them, if I lived then and would have a chance to stay I would stay. When Hitler came to Ukraine first the West part of Ukraine treated him like a person who will help them to get rid of Stalin, they were happy that Hitler came to the territory of Ukraine. If he behaved a little bit better towards the people that greated him, he would have a better chance to win the war :) You're right again Worldtraveller Ukrainians don't like to be mixed with Russians, we are 2 different people, but Russians try to make Ukrainians feel like slaves...like people of second sort...don't say that all Russians have such a behaviour, the official Russia and many ordinary people think this way. You are right, Hitler made a big mistake in this case. But he did a lot of mistakes :-) About the attitude of russians to ukrainians i can say, that the russians in Moldova considere themselves as the best part of the population. Very long after they respect the ukrainians and in the very end the moldovans. In my experience, Russia still considers Ukraine as a part of Russia, or call it a kind of colony. More and more Ukraine tipps into economical dependity of Russia - say a hello to Gazprom:-) Well, my own grandfather died of hunger in prisoncamp in southern Ukraine in 1945. My local businesspartner and close friend in Moldova (a pure russian guy) lost 3 or 4 male relatives in that damned war. We are both clear about the past, we speak about and we are both sad, that we lost parts of our family due to two fanatic maniacs. He and me have been both ready to forget the past - but also to learn from the past. And the result is, that we are close friends. And only this counts for the future.
