The fact is that a woman who decides to stay in Russia instead of marrying a foreigner does not have her happiness guaranteed. There are many reasons why we are here, and I cannot speak for others, but as far as I am concerned, why would I want to marry a Russian girl to make her unhappy? If she is unhappy, she will make my life a living hell; thus, it would make no sense to make her miserable. Also, I don’t know about the middle age bolding men, it sounds like a generalization. No, I'm not going to test it to see if it sinks or bounces, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. The foreigners who make these girls unhappy around you are quite likely these so-called sex-tourists. Yeah, lying cheats, immoral to the bone, and wasting plenty to gain short-lived fun they probably could get a lot cheaper elsewhere, however not the Russian kind I suppose. But P, do you dance? You probably do, I'd be surprised when you would not, and I hope you've got a regular partner. Your grasp of this language is so good that you probably will see where I'm going to... ...because it takes two to Tango. Balding fat old (and probably married) men have little chance to get laid with an attractive young woman, but may I break the news to you that this is a lot easier in Russia? In fact it is astonishing that it is, and I'm not talking about giving chase to them, they will even approach these men sometimes. Oh no, I'm not talking about the commercial kind found anywhere, I'm talking about really decent women, and young one's too. Too young in fact, hence inexperienced, and this, combined with an inherent curiosity towards a foreigner, makes interaction downright easy. So P, one does not even have to go look for it, it will spontaneously happen sometimes, and then an almost open invite very few will turn down. I dunno, it just might help being not fat or bald or married, but from what I've seen this hardly hinders. An now, by the looks of it, you blame only them, in my opinion not entirely fair. However, I agree with you that lying will help no doubt, cheating too, and lacking any moral standards aided with some money will open even more doors. The funny thing is though, from what I've read, and to a certain extent seen also, that this is more or less the 'generalized' way of the Russian men. Don't get me wrong here, exceptions galore either way, but not entirely untrue either, and surely this remark does ring some bells for you. However, your remark places you in the somewhat older generation in my opinion - over 30 I guess. If true such would make you somewhat different than the younger one’s, let’s call them girls. More experienced and consequently less gullible, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with. But didn’t you also have to learn, and the best teacher being practice I just hunch you’ve been there. You know already, they don’t hence need to learn. So tell them that there’s many foreign morons running wild, going berserk because they’re on holiday. However keep one thing in mind – amoung them you also will find the serious type, those who are looking for something of a lasting nature, and different than a pleasant memory. You’ve stumbled across a few of them here hence your remark – you must have noticed – didn’t go down too well. I consider myself one of them, and although you think I’m old I consider myself eager to learn hence would not mind hearing more from you, preferably a bit more elaborated. What was it in your past that set you off? I truly hope it wasn't a fat, balding, foreigner. If it was a man from the FSU, looking for a woman from a foreign country, would you be as resentful? After reading these threads, and being a member of Fiance.com for a couple of months, I have decided to write. Would some of us spend hours learning the language, learning the customs, flying to your country, just to to chase a young girl? If you want to address the plite as you mentioned, find a service, and I am sure there are many, that are set up to do just that. From what I have read on this Forum, most if not all are honorable men. Sure we bash women from our country, USA, but you would have to live here to see what we are up against. As for me, I have and will continue to search for a meaningful relationship that will eventually lead to marriage.
