Maybe someone can help me out here.. I am going to meet my lady in another country in a few weeks but I have hit some dead ends here and I cant search on the internet anymore because of time constraints for me and the fact I am going to go nuts with all this searching I have been doing!! I am to the point where the computer is about to go crashing through the window.
Problem- She has picked out a few spots but unfortunatly they are remote and I just cant get a flight booked to any airports at either location!!! Can anyone let me know which countries she can go to without getting a visa or where she can get a visa without any problem. I definitly am not going to any kind of heavy populated Muslim nation, so thats out. And the places she picked she thinks are very romantic and are just to remote from any US airport it seems. Anyone with any idea just shout out to me a list of countries pleaseeeeeee.
Not sure what luck you are going to have. All the countries I am aware of are chiefly Muslim that don't require Visa prepared in advance. (I.E. Turkey and Egypt).
Thanks for the help guys. She wants to go to Croatia or Cyprus. She wants to be by the beaches. The cost for flights to those places are phenominal, and thats if you can even get a seat on a jet.
Unless she lives there and is sick and tired of it, St Petersburg should make for a fascinating visit.
Avoid Cyprus and Croatia, neither is safe for americans to wonder aimlessly in a romantic bliss.
Budapest or romania, both ok for Visa's, but Turkey would be best, depending where in Russia she lives. I think you misunderstand the majority of Muslims, I have been in 3 Muslim countries since the war in Iraq, and have nade many muslim friends there, muslims are people , just the same as us, do you really think arab fanatics are any more religous than IRA terrorists, of course not, they are unified by hate. So go to a muslim country, understand them and do not be brash....I support the war in Iraq( I have my misgivings on what has happened afterwards) but America and Britain do not have a monopoly on right, and Iraqi's and other Muslims a monopoly on being wrong
awww whats the matter goodwill, somebody bit you in the ass now you think you know it all?LOL. Go look in the mirror you look a little green to me. I think whoever dumped your sorry ass made a very good choice, I wish I could congratulate her. Nothing makes me laff more than some moron that thinks they know it all and you make a perfect example of that to everyone here. Weve come across plenty of idiots like you here and if you want to be exposed to all about the sad sack you are keep it coming.
Ever hear of a troll you moron? Because you make the perfect fit, go crawl back under the riock you came out from under, rofllllllllll
You want to start a war of words you came to the right place.....amuse me dickhead, what else you got to say =))
GL: I know you have said many times you are a very well travelled man, please tell me you have been to those places and experienced what you say. Ive already been to St. Pete and yes, I will be returning there in the future.
Crash,
Besides the ever present State Department travel warnings, I rely on the experienced of others to gauge whether a place is safe to visit or not.
Neither Cyprus nor Croatia will see me in the near or not so near future.
Well, I have already gone through the State Department travel warnings and I don't see any warnings for either country. I pulled up alot of info about both countries and I really haven't found anything to be alarming. Cyprus is a member of the EU, don't know if thats worth anything. I see that its more of a risk to travel to Turkey for instance. I'll be close to Greece and I know they are gearing up for security for the Olympics, don't know if that will affect me. But anyway, I'm going and I hope everything will be ok. I will let you know how everything went when and if I return =/
We will be staying in a four star hotel along the beach and I hope we will be safe. You made me a little paranoid about this. Anybody with experience here please weigh in on this, I leave very soon.
