A while ago there was a topic about a girl named Svetlana asking men for flowers, flights and visas using Flamingo Travel Agent Guba Larisa, Donetsk, 94 Artyoma Street, etc.
I have to admit that I have been a victim of those people. I have sent her money in order to book a flight and apply for a visa. Unfortunatelly she had never turned up, when she suppose tp! The worse thing is that she keeps asking for more and more money!!! The girl made it up that everything was a misfortune accident on the airport where smb. mugged her of her documents and pocket money. According to her she couldn't continue in her trip .... I have contacted a detective agency and they says there is nobody with her name booking flights on above day!!!
Very helpful are Embassies and Airlines, they won't tell you if anybody has applied for visa of booked flights. So, you are told that it's your private matter ..... rrrrr!!!!
I would like to ask Chipscher and Alta or any other victims to step forward and write a report to UAPROFILER web site for known scammers, to send them more evidence which can help to open up a criminal case if there is enough information, according to them?!!! I didn't know how scammers works before, and I seems to learn the hard way how in contributing into their pockets very easily ...!!!
I don't expect my money to be paid back. I just want to publish what happend and perhaps stop people like her in similar activity and to give an example for others what not to do in case smb. asks you for money in echange for visa and flights!
Their email address: mailbox@uaprofiler.com
I have forwarded her pictures, address, few emails, and passport scanned image to them. There should be a report published soon, I was told.
So, If you feel like you have got something to contribute. I would appreciate your effort.
PeterB, Also, check out stop-scammers.com. For your future correspondences with women, they have a search engine for the scam letters they collect. I was fortunate to find this website before I sent money to "Svetlana." I became curious, and searched for "her" travel agency on the internet, and found a link to her letters on www.stop-scammers.com. (the SAME letters as mine!)
They also have a cool forum, with other people like us.
There is tons of imformation on line about scams. I purchased a scam guide myself, thought it was well worth the money rather than have a resentment about the common internet ripoff. Never send money, I am even sceptical about credit card stuff so I research the sites first, on everything. It is just to easy to false advertise online. The scammers know everyone will not buy into there line of crap so they write to thousands and get a few. I am very sorry you learned the hard way, I am much the same way about learning myself. So you are doing the right thing to report your experience so someone else may not make the same mistake.
This might seem like its obvious and something you have done already. But have you tried contacting these by directly by their email addresses? Log on here in the Forum and look up old letters in our archives - you should be able to find posts by all of these guys (especially chipsher). Write to them directly at their addresses.
again the rule is NEVER SEND money. if you used travel agency they should provide you with all receipts and bookings info for her travel. have you talked to that agency, are they real? do you have their phone number? when did it happen. you can probably file criminal case against them in Donetsk. I think you need to have a local representative. publish you story here on the forum. it will be well indexed. so people will not repeat your mistake.
The story: A girl who I met through blossoms.com introduced herself as Stella Gaziyan, living in town Kurahovo, Pobeda Street 21/25. Asked me after exchange of emails to meet, which I willingly did agree after suggesting, half way in between in Prague, .... she asked me to contact another girl/woman Guba Larisa who suppose to run a travel agency flamingo in donetsk, 94 Artyoma street, there is a phone number and emails in the thread .... I already contributed before .... Stella and Guba are probably the same person according to timing of emails and IP addresses!!!
Well, Guba sent me the itinerary, bill, bank accounts and faked copy of Stella's passport, just to show that she does really exists, but photo was not real, it was fake I discovered recently ... also images of the girl(thin, blond and sexy desirable) are probably stolen from smb's photo album or web site ....rrr Doesn't remind real Stella!!!
The detective agency says Stella is a married woman, and is a brunette!!!
The travel agent was fictional, as you can guess, just to cover it up using a name of well known travel agent, also in their last email they made a mistake and introduced themself as Crimea Travel Agency, which scared the death out of me ..... I want to warn you those people are, I assume, doing it on large scale. They even couldn't remebember which agency they are from!!!!
Well, they sent me a bill stated which airline, and which embassy they gonna apply at, and you can guess they never did, after they got the money!!!
The girl on the day she suppose to turn up, sent me an email that she has been mugged on the airport, which she has never been at, according to her IP addresses, they always show the same numbers .... also would you believe it??? she is still in love with me and asking me paying for another trip, just to show that everything has really happened .....rrrr
Question for OLEG? how can I contact anybody in Donetsk, to log it as a criminal case???
You have obviously been scammed, and despite my firm belief that nobody deserves to be treated this way, I think you have much more to gain by moving on with your search for an honest FSU woman instead of getting stuck on the process of trying to bring these people to justice.
Your chances of succeeding are less than slim.
As far as I know, very little cooperation can be expected from the local FSU authorities who simple treat these cases as another case of "stupid foreigner got what he deserved for being naive".
Post whatever information you have on the scam websites.....then move on. Let your bad experience serve as a lesson for other men to learn, but try to keep it from robbing you of your sense of humor.
When all is said and done, you must admit and accept your share of the responsibility for allowing this scam to take place.
I hope it doesn't turn you into a blanket FSU woman hater like many before you who also got scammed.
You lost money, but the scammer lost the oportunity to meet an honest man with whom to build a serious relationship.
On the other hand, lol, if you're not an honest man looking for a wife or a serious relationship and all you wanted was an easy FSU roll in the hay, you got what you deserve..:))
toad
Toad, :)) Well, I gathered that the chance to get my money back is slim as soon as I got a message on my phone, on the airport, that I recieved an email from Stella! We were actually making bet on this girl with my pals and I lost, while waiting for our flight! I'm already looking for a new bird. Sorry Stella alias Svetlana! I got hooked on your emails, that I can't live without them anymore! GOD, keep me away from scammers, please, I'm not rich?!!! I have joined this fiance.com (as coze the forum helped me to open up my horizons) ... and within one week I have received 31 replies so far, but none of them as good as from Stella's, needs a little bit of work I reckon :)) ..... well now I feel confident, to try it again, my adventurous character doesn't let me to wait for too long ... I tried my best, I have forgiven this scammer lady ... I hope she will have some luck with the money I sent her. :))
We have found another person who has sent money into this fictional agency (using different name), same person in Donetsk (looks like), and the same phone number (100%)..... following with similar story on the airport in Kiew (being mugged), has occured to his chosen lady ... etc.
Is there anybody else who was hurt in similar way??? Or been asked to contribute into their pockets?!!! Any information available is welcome, please? Or if you don't have anything, you have deleted it, just statement what you know would be appreciated. Thanx. The more people I collect, the merrier, if you know what I mean. I'm not a hunter, but .... something has to be done!!!
