" -neither do I. Or, rather: I believe that each person is an individual. I do not believe in 'associated guilt'. I am *not* guilty of what other people with my skin colour, eye colour, eye shape, nose shape, passport 'colour', etc. have done - except in cases where I decide to support their actions... However, I am also trying to be realistic. I cannot always be a non-participating observer. And even if I were, I could still be caught in the crossfire, when emotions run high. -and I know that when drunken germans start singing 'Deutschland ueber alles...' in a pub full of drunken locals in a country that was once occupied, then I should hide under the table... -even though I had no part in it on either side... -and I still believe that opinions expressed here can and will be read by some of the ladies... And if you hide something from the person you care about or write...then sorry but it's your own problems, then don't write letters or here on the forum. I agree that everyone should be ourselves but in my case, I was taught to show women more respect. I could never call you dumb, stupid, or anything else along those terms. I think that you're very smart anyhow. But I wouldn't have a problem calling a man that! :o) Sancho thinks that other women reading this forum will think that we are showing our true colors here but it's just boys being boys. I have visited the women's forum a few times to see what they talk about. It's a little hard for me to understand because it's all in russian. Usually it's about the concerns they have such as leaving Russia and treatment in a foreign country to name a few. Just as we complain about scammers, they complain about getting letters and never any visitors along with abrupt endings to letter writing with no explainations by the men. They also will get someone to drop in and condemn them for seeking marriage to foreigners.
