What I want everyone to think before they start blasting her name all over the anti-scammer websites or even this forum is about the posibility that the real scammer maybe using the real Veronika Sozonova's name but her own address to scam western men. The letter I got today (posted below) is obviously the latest in her/his scam chain, but being the twisted devils' advocate that I am, I cannot help wondering if someone has stolen Veronika's identity. It wouldn't be the first time someone writes letters in someone else's name. But if you have a profile in Single Western Men's Catalogue you probably have been recieving her/his letters recently Olga, I think we need your help with this one before the rabid wolves tear this FSU name apart. I have already recieved a warning notice from SingleWesternMen.com about this lady or whoever is using her name. LETTER TEXT: "......Hello sweetheart! Please send me 140 American dollars. As at us payment is accepted or in dollars, also it is possible in euro. It is necessary, that in brief term to legalize my papers plus medical insurance. I shall do the everything else itself. Tickets I will be paid on a place of my work. Certainly I to ask this money you on loan. I shall give them to you in the middle of August. OK? Besides it follows the fact that this Veronika character has also written me and others here several letters with pics, etc... I think if police in that city arrested her when she receives money she would claim that somebody told her to receive that wire and she doesn't know them... this scamemrs really hope on getting to very stupid men. Very quickly I noticed something was odd because she was expressing somewhat strong feelings for me, and a desire to meet me in person. After she requested that I send $2,149 USD via Western Union for her Visa, Travel expenses, and Medical insuarence, I knew I had to reply with a big middle finger.
