Hello, Ptichka!! You are good for us. I will go to Yalta to meet a lady for a beautiful, romantic meeting and vacation. Are there any warnings I should know about the area. How is it for an american tourist? Just tell me your thoughts about it, for me to go there. It will not change, that I will go because I have spent the money and we are very much looking forward to being together for the vacation. But I really would like to know your thoughts, Good or bad. Maybe it will help me to be prepared. I'm drilling your IMHO!!!Thank you, dear Ptichka!!!Sincerely!!!
Well, I know that it's nice weather there, as it's the Southern shore of Crimea, and I know tha close to Yalta there are many interesting things to see, but I also know that the prices there are the highest in the Crimea, at least they were like that.
My friends just returned from there and I will ask them about it, and then will tell you more OK?
And you can also visit the site http://www.yalta.com.ua/ it's possible to view it in English and you will see pictures, may read some history of the city:)
Hello!! Ptichka!! Yes, My lady has sent me many pictures and I have seen several web sites. The archway in the sea, What do you call it? I have seen this long before. Very mystic and beautiful. Any tourist traps, good restaurants, places you must see? Thank you very much dear, Ptichka!! Why the nickname birdie? Do you know the all american bird sign? called the finger!
You see South, I have been to Yalta almost 12 years ago, and I spent there just a couple of hours, so I can't speak about restaurants and things like that. I just know that you should be careful, don't take much money with you when going for a walk in the evening, just enough, and though try to put the rest of the money into the safe place:) But this advices are usual, and they are true both for a foreigner and for the person who lives in the country.
Why Ptichka, it was that when 2 years ago, I had to think out the nick name for ICQ very fast and my mom advices such variant, I didn't care much about it, and I started using it.
No I don't know that sign, and I don't care, if anybody is thinking in this way it's his own idea...:)
Thank you very much Ptichka!!! I thought you may have good use for the sign. It was a dumn curiosity on my part. I did not know it had been so long that you had visited Yalta. I have heard these same warnings. I really don't want to carry much cash with me. Is it safe to keep money in hotel room? Can I go get money on Visa card at the bank most days? I appreciate your IMHO and any help you can offer for me. Thank you again!! Have a wonderful day!!!
