Are they easy to find? If you go on your own is it dificult to find someone to help you out with translation. Obviously you would need to hire them but how much does that service cost and where do you find such a person? Most of the apartment agencies have interpreter service and I'm sure the agency where your lady belongs would be able to assist. My interpreter's rate was $8-10, depending on how long she was needed. More time means a price break. I was just trying to get the feel of this subject from those who had been. I don't have anyone special yet and I will more than likely take a tour next year with AFA or European Connection. Second only to Tokyo as an expensive tourist destination. Its been said that for the price you would opay to take a lady out in Mosocw to a nice restaurant - you could take the lady and two friends in St. Petersburg. And for the same price as that - you could take the lady out and her entire family - eight of you - in Odessa. That is one reason I went to Odessa. I had finished up focusing on Odessa but something seems to be happening and I might wind up changing plans. It could be a private trip to Kharkov, Ukraine. I have found someone who is 40 years old and incredibly beautiful. You don't find that in the USA, they usually have gone to pieces by then! I think that a 9 year age difference is extremely realistic. I have a hard time believing this 15 or even 20 year age gap thing. It looks like a potential recipe for long term disaster to me. Some people you knew who are absolutely withing a calendar year of age - mature radically differently from other. By the time you have been out of high-school twenty years and you should all be just 38 years old - some will look and act as if they are still in their mid-20's while some will seem to be in their 50's. I had a problem with the age thing here at first. The photo I post gets a lot of replys for some reason. I get a lot of attention from 18 and 19 year olds too, from Russia. I a a long distance runner and am really fit and have always had this little boy look and still have not lost that look completely though it looks to me as it is fading fast. Even here in Florida 30 year old girls are still attracted to me. I agree with you jet it depends on the person. I do not want a 20 year old girl, but thirty fits me well. I take the most unflattering photos with my digital camera and keep sending them to women that write me and they do not seem to mind. I can't say the name of the book that I read this in because the administrator might show up at my house, but in the book she says if you write to her and state your concern about the age difference and send her a recent photo and she does not object do not bring it up again as age is not a factor for the women you are corresponding with. I think us men are more concerned about the age thing than the women. I don't even bring it up any more. I have a photo posted and then send some of my neighborood and the place Ilive then I send them a letter to be expecting a photo of me how I really look. I send a couple more letters and then they mention the photo of how I really look and I send a letter saying it is on the way a photo of me in the morning when I wake up. Then I send them a photo of this huge twelve foot alligator. Then I send them photos of me in normal settings. Age is a state of mind if she does'nt mind it does'nt matter. If you believe some of the stuff that is posted on boards, is great if you have money to throw, but if you do a little research you can find someone local at an inexpensive price. Once you have decided a destination, get on to ICQ and you will easily find someone for a good price and maybe make some good local contacts, the biggest sharks in the pool are the agencies. jetmba. Never had one involved in intimate conversations. Never had to use one on the phone. Never had to worry whether or not I would understand the lasy sitting next to me without help - if we got serious. How? Always made sure my lady spoke English. Its not hard to do - there are so many ladies out there. I mean, I know for a fact that many of these folks don't earn more than $20 to $30 a week. So to pay someone $8 - 10 per hour is insane. What you are saying seems to make more sense. $25 a day sounds more like it. However, Ditto was probably refering to Moscow or St Petersburg where I would guess the cost of living is higher. Jet, Once again I couldn't agree more. I have 2 ladies I am talking to right now. Swings and roundabouts ! The prettiest one is 36, she is astonishing and with a nice little 7 year old girl too. However rotten English. The other is also beautiful but 40. She has great English. Why she put in her profile that she had basic English I have no idea. Modest I suppose! In Volgograd the agency rented me an apartment + interpreter (8 hrs) + driver (8 hrs) = for $125 per day. The regular rate for each was $2 per hour. I recommend and apartment vs. a hotel. More room for less money. In Poltava, I rented the apartment and unlimited use of the interpreter for the same $125 per day. Plus they give you 20 free addresses of their girls and maybe some other perks, depending on the agency. I also think if you limit your search to the girls who speak good English, you are limiting yourself and overlooking some nice women. I trust that most women will quickly learn the language when they get to their new home. So perhaps those who have more experience might share some light into what resources they are using to arrange these things. If you do a search for "apartments" and the city name. Some US-based companies act as finders to rent apartments in various cities. You just have to search around. Some newer agencies will give some perks like an interpreter, depending on how hungry they are for business. Even if the price is the same or a little more, the extra space + the ability to make some meals yourself (instead of constantly trying to find somewhere to eat for every meal. I like just making a small sandwich on a moments notice.) is worth it.
