Your real question is an old question around here and the one I had to decide early on. Emails or romance tour? They are both good and you will find champions for both methods here. I used emails because I am cheap. However I had and continue to have really good results. I am pretty much spoken for nowadays but at the end of March I had a problem and resorted back to the web again. I had even better results than before because now I have very set parameters and lay out my letters and profile extremely clearly. There are many factors that are not immediately apparent. An example:- Dear Russian/Moldovan/Ukrainian/Belorussian lady, Do you know the whereabouts of your ex husband? Will he sign permission for your child to leave or accept a bribe?? 'cos if you won't, forget it, you ain't going anywhere with that kid. That means we are wasting each others time. Don't blame the lady for this they are not aware of these facts half the time. Likewise with tours you had better be clear what you are trying to do and achieve otherwise you are going to just waste money. JayMo talk about tours for this fellah. Some people say that the tours are no more than whoring expeditions. I don't agree with it but there is a small element of truth there. Some prostitutes attend the socials and it is impossible to keep them out. However it depends on the company you choose and the city. This isn't a slam your money down and away you go. You need to read this forum and gauge what the hell is going on first. Writing emails and profiles is a science and if done right you won't need a tour. I don't. My principle is simple - How can you build up a relationship when you only have at best 2 weeks to be with someone? All the emails in the world are no substitute for one meeting. So if you go on a romance tour and date say 5 strange women that you have never had any contact with before in your life what chance do you have? At best it is an introductory deal and then you start emails etc. Well why not get to know someone first then go. Just make sure you have a backup plan. that is another subject. I like it there sort of, but alot of the girls they got there don't read there emails. is it common for girls that you are emailing with not to email you back for like 4 days at a time or would you just say it's a waist? Elenas models are gauged on how many letters of interrest they send to people (Example) If she got 100 emails and returned 50 she is interested in you responces, her rate would be 50%, and if she gets to zero her profile is deleted. Heres the kicker she doesnt even have to read your email as long as she sends back The letter of interest. Your best bet is Fiance. regarding the email thing there are some women out there that are borderline scammers. An example I first came across a girl caled Violetta on Elena's Models. She wrote to me and was 40 years old. Cute as all get out but 40. Imagine my surprise when she turns up on Fiance with 5 years knocked off her age and some sexy pictures. Now she is gone and I see her on another site calling herself Violla and still 35. Women cannot always send an email back immediately. They are using an agency's computer and can't get in there. I have used three, Fiancé, Elena’s Models and East-West match. I found my first lady on Fiancé, went to visit here in Ukraine twice…didn’t work out. Found my present lady on Elena’s Models. Since they have changed their site it seems to be a little better that it was. Fiancé seems to have mostly ladies that use an agency. This is good in one respect…if the lady has limited English abilities they have a human translator available for her. Elena’s Models seem to have a lot of ladies with their own computers or use an Internet café. That is why I think some will go two or three days before they answer. Before I settled on Lena there was two other ladies that I wrote to that used Internet cafes, with both it was usually a three day turn around. Lena has her own computer at home so we have daily communication. East-West match will allow you to IM any lady that is presently online. It will all come down to what works for you. Keep in mind that no matter what security features are in place the scammers will find a way to get through, it is ultimately up to you to hang onto your money. I dont know why i am hooked on Kyiv but i just am. Probably after four trips i am comfortable with the city. But i cannot get a positive reply from one friggin girl from our web here, not one. Any ways this Kiev Connections has some fantastic looking ladies and these are without professional photo shoots. I love em all. But get this guys , they want ten dollars to send them a letter and an extra ten dollars to have her reply sent back to you !!!!!!!! Holy shit , 20 bucks for a round trip reply !!!!!!!! You have to realize that very few girls actually promote themselves on the net. I would not go anywhere for the first time to meet just one woman , go to meet a few. Attend a social also. If you are a shy man who is intimidated by a roomful of hot ladies who are checking you out , well , then you better not attend one. When I met my woman after all the correspondence she almost jumped me in the airport. I didnt feel like I was meeting a stranger, I felt as if we were together already a long time and she felt the same. Maybe it was just a unique situation, who knows, but its the truth. At a social, I would think its like going to a club. That agency Nadya eliminated . Thank god i had a social as a back-up plan. I have very strong alliances formed through a social. That is my pipeline for all my info that i gather. One thousand e-mails cannot hold a candle to meeting a woman eye to eye. It is called the human factor. Something our computors do not posess. As Jetmba and i will say , it was the time of our lives. I got to know Marina slowly through emails first. Then she offered for me to stay with her. I was concerned at first but after realised it was a good idea. I got attacked on my 3rd night there! I wasn't expecting that. I definitely don't think that would have happened if I had just showed up but you never can tell about women. :)) The socials are definitely also a good idea. Excellent back up plan and certainly a fun secure way to go if you want to get your feet wet without the hassle of organising it yourself. AFA does a great job by all accounts. Expensive if you just want a social though, last I heard it was $200 - $400 for each one. That is a bit dear.
