Is that why we go there to meet them instead of them here? What about other FSU countries? Ukraine, Kazakstan, etc... Why couldn't one of the ladies just say they are touring the US for a couple of weeks? Would they not be approved? An alien must prove strong ties to his or her country of residence, which will compel him or her to return back to that country. Strong ties could be marital family staying behind, own real estate, a good job, own business, etc. Since most youth lack such, it is harder for them to get visitor visas to the US. Olga was told that visa was denied because I had failed to disclose my first name change to her, an irremediable made-up reason for visa denial. Since disclosure didn't take place prior to the visa interview, matter couldn't be resolved for all eternity. We knew no better.
