I have been single for 5 years because of my sweet nature and need for affection. my american wife of 9 years got sick of our perfect life and left with my good friend and over $250,000 leaving me broke and lonely.Now I am saving up money to travel to thailand to look for a bride. I havent talked to anyone from there just gonna fly down and look for a skinny homeless thai girl. I dont care if she is a prostitute or what my main concern is what she looks like and how long I can keep her. Of course affection and good habits would be great, but at this point im approaching madness from the hundreds of rejections by every woman I meet.I wil not waist another cent on dating services or give a cent to anyone unless they prove theyre willing to at least touch me first let alone accept me. Anyone know about how much it would cost to go find a thai girl and bring her back to america? other than airfare what miracles will I have to pay for, ie. passport for her, shots, etc. and she will run when she learns how sweet and needing of love I am. is there some chip or implant to find her? A tattoo perhapse or some kind of tag? Any ideas would help!

This must be a joke? You had me laughing pretty hard. If all you want is some affection or sex why don't you go to the bunny ranch in Nevada and take care of that itch? Flying to Thailand for that is surely going to leave you lonely and broke. Watch out for the boys dressed as girls, I know there are a lot of them in Thailand. LOL

sorry to hear about your plight.lots of guys in the uk have had the same problem,divorced then left broke.i have been to thailand and the philippines a few times so i have had the chance to see what goes on there.you can find yourself a lovely young lady from either country without any problem,you've just got so much choice it's unreal.just like any other country there are good ladies and bad ladies,just be careful,take your time and be choosy because you can afford to be.i've traveled around the world twice,seen most things. the nicest ladies i have ever come accross are from asia without a shadow of a doubt.maybe consider the philippines because they can speak good english which makes communicating so much easier.good luck.if you need any help.........westerngent44@yahoo.co.uk

Cycleserg I haven't been to Thailand, but one of my "guy" friends is one operation away from becoming a woman. He's already gotten the boobs, nosejob, eyebrows, hair change, etc. He's going back in November to get the weiner chopped off. So you're right about boys dressing up as girls. Partyguy190 Hang in there. Check out Thailand or the Philippines. I haven't been to either country, but maybe you'll find success there.

come on guy,be reasonable. before you jump into lake read my post. i did a post about website dateinasia.com where i am a member. let me give you background--i live in florida and my latest wife left me in way similar to yours.for some time i try ex-soviet union without result and reseached latin americas. finally i stop on Phillippines and dateinasia.com gave me free membership. now,a month later,i see realistic picture. i have on average 5 mails a day and talk with somebody everyday. yes,i had same attitude as you--i am desperate and take any female. i did change my opinion after being on site for some time. yes,some of the ladies are scammers,so what?I dont have to send money,right? most of them want good life,nothing more. all of them speak English,its big plus. now i am planning a trip in October. feel free to ask more.

Alan - Damn you are spamming that damn article. Who the F cares? There are lots of girls who have never travelled outside their country, let alone be able to make a western-style of living. Gold-diggers and scammers aside, there are still lots who don't think their prospects look anything like a girl in the West if she doesnt marry someone from abroad. Lots of these girls also give up hope after they try to find a decent man. It is a total crapshoot. Oh and I don't do Russian girls, Ukraine girls are where its at. In 1990 I would have gone Russian... now its Ukraine.

Apal, Why do you have no interest in Russian girls? If you are looking for the hottest babe you can find, it may very well be in Russia. I was most impressed with the view in St Pete's. There were 10's everywhere. Not one girl I saw did not have her 3" heeled boots on. Really defined the touche. I have to say, I am like you only in Ukraine now, it is more comfortable, more english spoken and don't need a visa.

Beem - I just truly wonder why a girl in a big city like SPB and Moscow would want to leave to come to the West in this day and age. Those cities have lots of successful Russian males in them. Why? Okay, besides the normal gold-digger types, I'll tell you a story... I had the mail.ru addy of a girl I had met personally on my visit to Ukraine. So I googled it. I found a Russian-language blog of hers. When I had it translated, I read where she was writing in her blog and crying about her brand-new Ukrainian boyfriend she had just broken up with the same week I had sent her flowers and she was in an agency in Kiev the entire time. No big deal? Yeah, we all know these girls date local guys. But she wrote about sleeping with him with no oath of love and how great everything was because of his proximity, his money, his car, and the restarants... And then how he dumped her right on his birthday and how sad she was because of it, because she had bought him a gift. He pretended he didn't know her when she called him on her cellphone. She never did any of this on my own birthday... As you all know, I am hard put to trust the sincerity of any of these pretty FSU girls. Especially these big city girls who have lots of local guys coming after them. Yes, whether you want to believe it or not * There are local good looking FSU men, some even with money and cars that conquer each young pretty girl they come across.* Same thing goes on around the world. Just didn't dream of reading about it from the very same girl I was seriously considering as someone I could see myself wanting to marry. So now you know more dirt on me. I chose wrong. I trusted someone I thought to have high moral standards. Everyone keeps telling me it takes weeks and years for these relationships to begin. No way! These same girls will bed down a guy they want with out the flowers, the letters, the gifts and all the trouble a guy has to go through. This is the same girl who wouldn't hold my hand after several dates... She blamed it on the fact that we had to use a translator, okay yeah I thought that was a good one... I just happened to keep meeting the worst and most insincere girls I guess, even locally. So did Bigred, but I won't ever even try to bust his balls on something both my Mother and my Grandmother had happen to them as well. Insincere, gold-digging, excitement-seeking women? Can go rot in hell... Atleast I thank God for the Internet to find out just how this girl really was, with all those wonderful, life enriching, sincere letters she wrote me. Now you know why I warn guys to steer clear of big city girls. A hot girl in a bigger city is gonna look for the next biggest better thing. Especially if you are not there to watch out for her? Says Bigred's mother-in-law? Why the hell should you have to? It wasn't his fault, it was this low-moral woman's fault. Not his at all. My heart goes out to him. Seen the same thing happen with my ex-fiance. I got over it, I met other women. Life goes on. Maybe I'll have luck, Maybe I won't. At this point all I can do is warn the next guy on how not to get burned. ALl I can do is pray that I find the one girl who won't do what happened to Bigred, because it's been a pattern in my whole family... Sorry bigred, my prayers go out for you...

Apal, Sorry about what happened to your girl, I don't get very attached to girls I write to and meet because I don't want to feel terrible that girl was not what I thought. My thought was to meet with several and see what happens. I work very slow, try to understand what girl is about. I don't think about holding hands or kissing, just a greeting kiss on cheek is something I insist on because that is how I was brought up. I certainly haven't run into the same type of girls you have. I don't go after the hottest but I have to find them attractive. I have had only one shopper and I only bought a few things for her until I got bored of that and let her go. Rest of girls were real and looking for right guy, I think about 15-20 girls now. We don't ever talk about what I have or don't have($$$), only about relationships and our insights. Maybe it is type of girl I pick or maybe it's from the content of my letters, girls know where I am coming from and in turn show their seriousness in their search for 'second half' as they say. After a year I feel I am getting closer to finding right girl, wether it be a girl from home or from another country, I know it takes time to understand persons from another culture and what their thoughts and experiences are along with each individuals makeup.

Yeah, I know beemer - I'm just more sincere than most guys you might meet... I never expected someone so young and polite sounding in her letters would lie completely to me. I was naive. Simple as that. When I was there, it felt like she was a scammer, because all she did was ask about material wealth and pout when she saw a Porsche after I told her I drove a Lexus and she told me obstinantly she wanted a Porsche... can you imagine after six months of writing someone and find this out in person? I wish someone had warned me that many of the young girls from bigger cities DO want a very wealthy man. I had no clue. Yes, there are good ones that want to find a decent guy who will be faithful and all... I will do as you are doing and write more than one. No sense in being dependent on only one (just in case). My advice to myself next time is to write more than one girl and see the favorite one first. If it goes sour, see the next one ASAP as soon as any red flag shows up. I have a very bad habit of ignoring red flags, or being too compassionate when the girl cries to have me back -- of course they always do the exact same red-flag over and over again. oh well...
