It was Auntie Yulya's braided hair that formed a noose that wrapped around President YUSHCHENKO's neck. Speaking of Yushchenko, I never asked but I believe he was on my flight from Frankfurt to Kiev. There was an unusual separate group checking passports and looking at us and our pictures closely as we boarded the plane. Unboarding from the train we all boarded a bus to the terminal. Then there was a delay. Out of the plane runs out who I saw looked a lot like the president and boarded a limo with a lot of bodyguards nearby. Nobody seemed to notice or care. I agree. Auntie Yulya is cute, but did you ever see the serious face on her when she speaks to the people or parliament? Goodness. I have never seen her smile. I just got back a month ago, Pete. Cute is an understatement - when she lets her hair down (literally) and smiles she moves from cute to gorgeous. And her daughter Evgeniya must also rate pretty highly in the beauty stakes - check out the photos from before she was married three years ago. By the way, did you know that she appeared on the cover of the Polish edition of Playboy in May 2005? I didn't until just now, reading an article from a few years ago.
