I have a question(s) for some of you gentlemen that have actually traveled thru Eastern Europe. Why the infatuation with women of Ukraine? Are they by some genetic trait, automatically superior to women form say; Latvia, Russia, Belarus??
Or could it be that the very sophisticated and huge international dating industry that has formed in Ukraine been successful at projecting an "image". Beautiful, Ukraine women of renown culture & tradition, tired of their boorish, native men and cannot wait to hook up with a conquering Western stud?
I look thru the profiles and there seem to be many attractive, ALL are educated, articulate women from other countries but none seem to garner any real attention.
I have to tell you, on a bio when I see; Nikolaev, Kharkov, Summy, Maripoul....I am automatically wary and that may not be fair but that's my personal experience.
Anybody out there who has traveled in the area can tell me if there is such a great difference in the women of this 1 country?
Because of their heritage they have an extra fold of skin in their vagina (Slavic women) and that is what makes them "tight" this is what ultimately makes us foreign men attracted to them.
Well visas are a factor but getting one isn't that big a deal especially with all the visa brokers on the internet - 20 mins form filling and £80 and viola, visa.
UA is just relatively cheap to travel too, to stay in (unlike major russian cities for example) and its comparatively easy to get to outlying cities (compared to russia for example). It also has an established "bride industry" which makes it easy to just turn up and meet women. The countries west of UA are mostly already part of the EU and so the women dont need to look for foreign husbands and the countries to the east, the "stans", are expensive and inconvenient to travel and have like one wooden shack per square mile.
For me it was a question of focus. It's just a personal preference thing, but I like to concentrate on one area and get to know it and it's people, rather than just 'scatter gun' around places at random. Therefore, when I joined my first site (fiance.com) I look at the profiles that interested me and decided to concentrate on the country with the highest number. The only two contenders were Russia and Ukraine - of those, more profiles were from Ukraine, so this made my choice.
A little arbitrary perhaps, but the mentality was that I can always turn to Russia if Ukraine dating doesn't work out. Thankfully, it hasn't come to that (yet)
I married a Russian woman. Ukrainians did not work out for me. Our expectations did not match.
I do not think that any country is better than the other (I met girls from Russia, Lithuania, Moldova, Belarus, and Ukraine in that specific order). It just worked out this way.
A visa might not be too much of a problem, but it can be intimidating. Where were your parents born? What schools did you attend? There are enough women in the other FSU countries for anyone to respond to, but Ukraine have far more women there than any other country.
Don't take this the wrong way but didn't you find it intimidating completing an application for, and paying for, a passport, all the unneccessary expense and all those personal questions you needed to answer!
To quote you, it's a "no brainer", why bother with the nonsense application and expense of a passport, they have women in USA available to meet without requiring a visa and not even requiring a passport!
Still, it is $100 and filling out forms when you can go to Ukraine and not fill out forms and not pay.
Before my first Ukraine visit, there were not too many available women in my surroundings. I am not one to go to bars or parties to meet them as I have never had luck with that. I have had a few dates with beautiful women, but they know they are that, and make you go through hoops to get to them. I have gone through the hoops, but that also took some of their attraction out of my eyes, although they were ready at the end. I even put my profile on Yahoo, but I didn't contact any of them. After a month, only one 26 year old responded. There are a few beautiful women in my surrondings now, but I already have a gf and I am intriguted by the FSU.
I applied for a passport when passports took a long time as they were changing passport rules on travel to Mexico and Canada. I waited until the rush was over and it still took me seven weeks to get it. I am a Naturalized Citizen. I need a document to prove that. My employer needed that a while back and I could not find it. It took $240, a form and nine months to get a replacement. I hear it's twice that much now. A visa from an FSU country might not be as hard as I think it can be, but why do it when you can go to Ukraine and don't have to?
I do not discount other FSU countries. In fact, my correspondence was with a lady from Saint Petersburg before I decided on the singer and actress from Kiev for my first visit. I told the SP lady that I will concentrate on her and only her. It took her three weeks to respond. She went on vacation, she said. She told me not to get mad that she took that long, but it was then too late. I moved on.
If you believe, for one minute, that a prettier than average Ukraine woman doesn't know she is pretty, or beautiful, then, with all due respect, you need to go back to school!
It's a long time since I browsed those profiles but I recall reading such words as "I am Attractive", "I am beautiful" etc. and often one would look at the picture(s) and think otherwise :)
Of course they do. Some of them make you do the same things that these American women do. Still, you don't have to take any of that because there are so many of them.
Look at what one of these honest girls wrote in her profile. I read this when I was searching and saved it for future reference, never to forget how lucky I was to find the woman I married:
"I am student, and model. Like my work so much. I am so romantic, optimistic ,persistent, confident,kind... I like to dance so much, play piano and billiard. I like also shopping and beautiful cars ,beautiful clothes and brilliants.
The man I am looking for is an independent and busy person, a head of company,or can be the owner of restaurant business, or just a successful businessman not older then 50 years, 183-190cm tall, healthy, nonsmoker drug free, someone who can keep a family well.
My man has to be: Nice, beautiful, kind, sociable, rich, generous and magnanimous... "
It is not my point that I am trying to make any particular individual realise, I'm merely trying to help some 80% of the guys that travel to FSU, those that merely travel to 'easy' Ukraine, their short-sightedness and the error of their ways.
Word spreads like wildfire amongst the majority of these Ukrainian women "Hey, we're hot property, we'll take these guys for all we can take them for" yet, neglected for these past few years, throughout much of the remainder of the FSU there will be women falling off trees waiting for the opportunity for a guy to visit.
There was a saying, many years ago, "Stay away from the major cities and head for the villages to find a genuine woman", well these days the entire of Ukraine, as far as guys travelling is concerned, might be considered one major city.
I've never been but I would take an educated guess that if one headed off in to the outback villages (small cities) of Russia then one would find genuine women and with traditional values unlike, as an example, the corrupted and commercialised products that many will experience in Ukraine.
Put it this way, when one wants to treat oneself does one go for a rib eye steak or a processed meat burger? :)
