Or is it the case that this should never happen? What about men with appalling behaviour who encounter a scammer along the way? I do not want to pass judgment on him, but the man calle 4re, who some people may remember, could be a candidate for one that deserved it. My view is that his boasting about his money to women he met online and then going to meet one of them thinking he could buy her with expensive presents and dates led him to his disastrous encounter with the girl. The girl obviously lured him to visit her with the promise of kinky sex, in their webcam conversations and he knew what the visit was about. If he could get the girl long term (even as a wife) too, then fine. Apart from going there to get sex, there are likely to be other cases of men with bad behaviour like liars about the number of women they are going to see, their having no intention to comit or even worse: wanting to get an FSU lady to take her back home and treat her like dirt or even get her into porn or even prostitution. I know a guy thats been coming to Odesa for 9 years now. He just retired in June. He STILL blows his money on 20 somethings, hoping to get a young wife. He deserves every $50-100 dinners and $300 shopping trips he buys them. He has decided that all women in agencies are scammers. He will not admit it but I am sure he now hates all FSU (or at least Ukrainian) women because of the way it has been so easy for scammers to exploit his stupidity. So he now says (I hope it is a promise) that he will never try to find an FSU wife again but the problem is the way he talks about these women to newbies here who clearly have the intention to commit to an FSU girl in the form of marrying her or going to her. It is evident the way he sees women and the way he must talk to them, judging by the way this low life and mentally ill individual talked about my daughter here. She just used me to eat a free dinner but you what? That taught me a very important lesson. NEVER let her choose the place. Now I take just to a simple place like Coffee Life. If that's not good enough for her then adios amigo! When they demand anything on a date - taxi, expensive restaurant it's adios bitch. Someone said, Well then you're missing out on... No I'm not! I'm only missing out on pro-daters. On another note. I know of a Brit who owns a hostel in Odessa. He's in his 50s, he's fat, he farts, he stinks, he's utterly disgusting and yet he has a 19 yr old girlfriend because he buys her the latest iPhones, iPads and takes her to fashionable restaurants. So anything is possible even if you're utterly disgusting. By the way this guy has on his hostel website, Don't come here if you're looking for a mail order bride. What a hypocrite! I wonder what they say: "There is the next victim of that girl who is always here" Maybe that is a warning people should look at but if it is only men doing this, it could be envy. These girls will lead their victim to this restaurant. (They insist on this restaurant and only this.) Once you are there with your 'date' they have very specific pro-dater menus. These are fashionable dishes that run around $80-$100 a plate. Your pro-dater will hardly touch a thing on her plate and sometimes order two dishes. The wine menus are equally expensive. A cheap counterfeit wine is usually substituted for the real thing. The same thing with designer waters. The guy will sheepishly order something cheap off the menu or just a drink so not to run the bill up too much. After your done your waiter will bring you your bill usually running $300-$400. The best way to avoid this is to refuse to go with your date to a place of her choosing. One pro dater tried this on me once in Kiev. Before we entered the restaurant I said to her, You can order what you want but you have to pay for what you order yourself. You should have seen the look on her face. Needless to say we didn't continue the date. I asked an interp, how much of a discount is it?? 0.5%! What the card really is,,, is to give the agency a cut of the revenue, from dinner and your hotel. I had a card one time,,,,, I only used it the one time,,,,, and made believe I used it after.
