I am 56 years old but get lots of letters from 18 and 19 year old girls. I ask if they have noticed my age, and they say "yes". I seem to be getting more letters from women closer to my age. Fewer very young women are sending me messages now (other than the obvious scam sites). I just saw an old TV sitcom episode that dealt with a young adult daughter who fell in love with her boss who was about 25 years older than her. He proposes to her, but her parents have a difficult time accepting him. After she starts to have reservations as to how she can fit into his life (different interests, friends, activities), she decides not to marry him. Her arguments to her parents about him are somewhat valid - like why keep waiting for a "perfect mate" at a later age who might never be found? And since her parents were divorced, she also said that their previous marriage and breakup should not be compared to her relationship with her boyfriend. Those who came back on email seem to have good jobs all of them, so that is why I am surpried they have interest in an old man. My daugher is 17 so it would be very odd to have a wife who is 20.. Something is afoot here. Either the site you're using is scamming you or as Martin mentioned if it's really the girl she's after your money (if you have any) in some way. Frankly speaking I don't think girls of this age should be in agencies anyway as they are not mature enough to engage in relationships with foreigners. Based on my own experience, many arent really interested in going to USA except to visit. I have had a 20 year old girlfriend in past year for about 6 months (broke up with her in February because she would occasionally communicate with a ex) and have a just turned 19 year old with me now who I can say is likely with me because I can help her get into University this fall and give her some financial assistance in exchange for a mutually beneficial relationship. In both cases, Im quite sure the relationship would go nowhere back in USA. while I would like to get married again if the right girl materializes, I am enjoying life as it comes. I will add that I am athletic build(6 pack abs ect.) and dont really look my age, understand the language and how life works here. If you are fine with being in that type of relationship and can become an ex-pat in Ukraine then thats one thing. If you are looking for marriage and her to come home to your country then start at 35 and up. Those who still keep on writing via email seem to have decent jobs and has so far not asked for money. But future will tell.. At 30 there isnt any issue at all because 10 years is a normal age difference.
