There is no acceptable use of the "N" word by a white person, no matter how cool you think you are. I grew up with the notion that there are "white ni**ers and black ni**ers. This is acceptable in some parts of the U.S. but using the word is still wrong. Just stop saying it... PC (Political correctness) has not overwhelmed the FSU and personally to some extent I hope it stays that way. PC (Personal Choice) is what this pursuit is all about. Those who are not “white” (whatever that may be by definition) and do make a PC (Personal Choice) to go to the FSU states looking for a mate need to be very much aware the social protections that PC (Political Correctness) provide in the west will be missing and they may very well come up against things like “Nigger” and so forth. They need to be prepared. I’m not suggesting these terms should be encouraged or that I condone them but the reality is, the visitor may very well hear them and if from the outset he is likely to be offended then he should stay home. The FSU is not the place for him. One thing that has become abundantly clear to me throughout marriage and as I observe the socio/political developments of Russia over the last decade, Russia certainly isn’t going to change to accommodate western tastes. Ukraine, of recent times has been slightly different but I have doubts about the longevity of the new found liberalism. The lady i have been in contact with is from Odessa, she is Orthodox and we get along great and have been discussing future plans.
