How many years have you been around this forum and you still don't know the rules applicable to abusive language?

Please read our rules before posting:
Abusive language will not be tolerated.
I think that applies to someone having a business and comes to post here just to advertise. If you are talking about me talking about your business, you beat me to it. You already posted about it many times.
Now, why attack the other's character? What lies did he say? You did not go to prison?
I have always played by the 'commercial posting' rules, this and other forums exist, free for the likes of you and me, because they depend upon commercial advertising such as sending flowers etc.
I have NEVER identified my business by name on this forum, I can say it's doing very well etc. so long as I don't identify it, but now that it has been identified ever more so I need to keep quiet about it so as not to commercially post.
I and my business, where applicable, pay to advertise, we have our own website that costs just a mere $40.00 or so per year, other businesses that claim to be so superior to ours can't even afford a website, we're not going to have mains electricity all day this coming Sunday, no problem for our business because we have a top of the range 'Kipor' diesel generator, other businesses, never mind can't afford a website they, can't afford a generator and will be without electricity, AGAIN, this coming Sunday ... Now go figure who's other business I am referring to!
As is appropriate, if anybody wishes to learn about our business then a simple google pulls up our website where our contact information is clearly displayed, it is not appropriate to discuss our business on forum(s) nor anywhere other than our website/email and I make no excuses for adhering to such a policy.
And as for your suggestion that I went to prison for a year, another's suggestion that I went to prison last April ... I mean how many more fantasies does jealousy and/or alcohol create? ... Absolute bullshit, both suggestions.
Perhaps I do RB but I recognise between my business and my personal life, I post on this forum as a private individual and not as a representative of my business in any shape or form.
Another reason why 'you know who' is mega frustrated ... When she stayed as a guest at his dump she complained that he was all over her like a rash ... Well I'm the one that got to f*ck Nicole (real name Nikka Mae) Montil, in fact she was the one that f*cked me, she likes riding on top :)
Martin, you are thousands of miles away from your homeland. I would think you would make friends with other British nationals, in spite of him having said problems. Yet, you managed to piss him off.
You've got that so wrong, he's an alcoholic with a failed business, a dusty roadside bar named after testicles, a so called resort that operates illegally without DTI registration, all he has to do is be angry behind a keyboard, he harassed two friends of ours for some 3 years, no sooner had they left this island than he turned on me, if I leave this island it will be an American friend of mine next, if he leaves the island then someone else etc. ... He has to be fighting with somebody.
All this talk about online reviews, only a desperate business relies upon reviews and so many of those reviews on this island are fake ... I mean not even Raffles Hotel in Singapore (reputably the best hotel in the world) gets such glowing reviews as some of the fakers on this island.
I don't fake reviews, my business doesn't need to, it is successful without them, you tried to claim that we'd had 25% complainants but please allow me to correct you ... During our first three years we've had some 6,568 guests through our doors of which you cite 4 have complained ... That's 0.0006% complainants ... Not bad eh!
"During our first three years we've had some 6,568 guests through our doors of which you cite 4 have complained ... That's 0.0006% complainants ..."
You sound like you know nothing about statistics. Assuming the 6,568 guests are correct, why has only 12 guests have said they are satisfied then? It is called sampling. I stand by my 25%.
I also checked your math. You are wrong there too. If you are going to add "%", you are two decimal places off.
You are blaming him that he is pissed off. Yet, you pissed off 25% of your customers and many forum members. That it is his fault is suspicious at best.
I think it is human nature for people to spend more time complaining,, than to take the time to give a compliment! And for an example,,, I give you this 4um! lol
Everybody also needs to realize, is why would this guy follow Martin here??
Enforcer:
“I have been following this forum for a very long time now,, but have only just registered,”
I've been doing significant online shopping recently, here is the text of an email I received this morning:
"Thank you for your recent order with Laptops Direct.
We hope you love your new purchase!
We greatly value customer feedback - it is vital in helping us to improve the service that we provide our customers and helps fellow shoppers make a more informed choice.
Please rate us and leave a review via our TrustPilot Page, which should take no more than 15 seconds."
And an email I received yesterday morning:
"Review your Freshnights Anti Allergy Zipped Pair of Pillow Protectors —
Write a review about your Freshnights Anti Allergy Zipped Pair of Pillow Protectors while those important first impressions are still fresh in your mind. We’d love to hear what you think!"
These are to name but two, am I going to write reviews? ... No I am not, I've got better things to do than write a load of bull ... But had I been picky and dissatisfied with those products then I would leave negative reviews.
Generally speaking customers only write in when they feel they have something to complain about, very few write in to say "Well done".
"You sound like you know nothing about statistics. Assuming the 6,568 guests are correct, why has only 12 guests have said they are satisfied then? It is called sampling. I stand by my 25%."
RB ... I know nothing about statistics? 17 reviews, if 4 are dissatisfied then:
1. What percentage is 4 of 17?, and:
2. How many were satisfied?
P.S. The postman came today with 6 international packages on each of which a PHP112 import duty is payable, straight away I declared PHP672 for him to stare open mouthed "How did you work that out so fast?"
There is a distinction between a review and a survey. I made the mistake of naming the survey a review. While the site said 17 reviews, there were only 16 in the survey. Four were pissed off and rated it terrible.
I stand by my 25% and that you know nothing about statistics.
Not many are mathematically inclined, no matter what nationality. This would be an example of how you view people. Your customers are people. The 25% is a conservative figure.

And you still wonder why you were fired, and cannot get a job, as an accountant?
"And you still wonder why you were fired, and cannot get a job, as an accountant?"
No. I don't wonder. In fact, I told you why. I dared to tell higher ups the numbers also pertain to them and their activities, not just everyone else. It was not about mistakes.
Again, you make things up.
"He's the same nationality as you RB ... Thick!"
More reasons why Martin pisses people off. While he and I are sparring, he attacks a whole nationality of people.
I don't know if you realize, Martin. Many posts in this forum reach the search engines. Anyone researching your restaurant could read what you are posting.
Well as the identity of our business seems to have been removed from this forum I feel safe to post this if only to refute Mr Nitpicker:
“EXCELLENT!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW
We had absolutely no idea where we were or where we were going to stay and we somehow thankfully stumbled across this place. Martin, the owner, is such an awesome guy. He was extremely helpful, nice, and always there for anything needed!! His prices beat anyone on the Island for what it is. Big bed, bathroom with a separate shower, ice cold aircon and helpful staff!!! Great location and within walking distance of Cloud 9.
Rad guy....We miss you Martin and can't wait to come back!!!
