I don't think you (or I) will change the mind of anyone who has decided that these people (or some category of them) are evil made flesh. Certainly, Muslims have carried out an amazing number of attacks against civilians in recent years. Imagine doing a tally: count up civilian deaths caused by massacres, or attacks in which there was a reasonable likelihood that half or more of casualties would be civilian non-combatants, sorting the figures by the religious self-identification of the attackers. If this tally went back, say, 100 years, it is obvious that Muslims would be pikers: they wouldn't rate getting on the chart. But I think some folks would be surprised how the totals would come up if you looked only since WW II, or even in the past 10 years! But it's no use arguing with someone who has chosen their bogey man. They will keep shifting the debate, for example saying that this slaughter of civilians was justified, whereas that slaughter was not. If I, my friends, or people who look and sound like me do something, its a lot more OK than if people who look and sound different do the same thing. This seems to be a "moral law" wired into our DNA. Sigh. So sure, over the years there have been conflicts among people for religious (mostly) territorial or other fueds. And there have been acts of terrorism throughout history. The KKK is an example of a terrorist organization. And many others. Ireland has had its share of wierdness. Africa -- it continues to this day the attrocities that go on between tribes etc. etc. etc. But be advised, these muslim extremists are a virus that is becoming a pandemic. And it is sad that most of these people have not a clue of the reality of the common actions and life of those who are targeted by their religious zealous leaders. Race mixers are evil for what they do to their children.. they do not take into consideration the psychological and physilogical problems the child will have. Any one that is cruel to children out of selfishness is evil. Baby seals are cute. Australiam Aborigines are not human from my perspective. Yankees.. who needs them? Naw they are OK. Immigrants.. why can't tehy stay home and defend their land from tyranny. I woud assist them as USA can not take them all. And Asians I truly respect.
