My lady was listed on Anastasia without her knowledge, and never received ANY notification that her unknown ad had even received any respones. Only AFTER she had successfully had her profile taken down did she inquire as to why she had never gotten an inquiry from a guy (she is stunningly attractive). And she was told that she HAD received numerous letters. But the agency was kind enough to write all responses for her. It may have well written some "unsolicited" letters from her as well. Why not ask your lady to send you a photo with a personalized sign with your name on it. Or if you want to be different then ask them to hold piece of fruit. Of course when you have the photo, you will need to confirm that photo is genuine, therefore you will need to check EXIF data - I use (EXIF Viewer). I think I have something to add about both Anastasia and hotrussianbrides. I started a couple of years ago.. like many I used Anastasia because it is the first site to come up on most searches and the site is polished. I found two girls I liked.. one in Lugansk, (before I knew about Lugansk) and one in Nikolaev. The girl in Lugansk was not shy to ask me for a vacation in Crim before i knew her. She quoted me the cost of the car and her translator friend and the apartment in Yalta. I told her NO WAY! I asked her if she thought we should meet first and she agreed. But.. then I found the antiscam sites and I wrote her that I was not compfortable communicating with her on Anastasia. She quit the site and ended up at some other total scam site in Lugansk asking for $100 to finance her translations. That was the end of that. The girl in Nikolaev seemed mroe honest and when I told her what I learned about the site she just quit.. never heard from her again.. OK, now lets fast forward to the last 6 months.. I have been using hotrussianbrides specifically because of the chat feature. I found a girl I liked a lot but there were some red flags. I will be very curious to know if someone who has posted in this forum will find this story familiar... :) The girl asked me to meet her in Dominican Republic. I did not agree to it but I was naive thinking she had the money to travel herself. She told me she had a good job.. stupid me.. but even though I did nto agree to it we continued to correspond and the letters and chats just got better and better. Then, one day.. with no warning I received aletter saying she had fallen ill and was in the hospital. I freaked.. called the site.. they investigated and learned she "had gone to meet someone and did not want to hurt my feelings". The site told me.. "be patient.. see what happens after she returns" so I was.. and on her return she turned out to have gone to the DR but claimed the man was a sex tourist and all lies. HAHA I am thinking.. "what about your lies to me?" But.. I was still smitten so I got on the plane and I went to her. She was to meet me in the airport in Odessa.. no show.. so.. I went ahead and went to Kherson.. we had two dinners together and then she started flaking out. IN the end I sat alone for days and at the very end got a lot of presure from the agency to meet some other girls. In other words.. mroe intro fees.. more translation fees.. etc.. After the dust settled I realized I had been scammed.. not too terrible.. between the chats and intro fees and translation less than $1000.. but.. the site did nothing to stop this woman or the agency she belongs to. So.. here is my advice about HRB.. be careful using it and absolutely do not trust the agency in Kherson! However.. I will like to add.. I did meet two other girls in Odessa that are awesome. One is a great freind that helped me a lot on the ground in Ukraine and the other is developing into a romance. Now.. here is some other info.. when the girls go on Anastasia they absolutely are on contract. They must answer every letter or they risk losing their profile. I was informed of this by an agency manager in Nikolaev just a few months ago. Just be careful and use the web sites and agencies as merely a introduction to a lady. From there you are on your own. Many agencies are supported by the web sites they represent. Of coarse, this is why many women encourage men to use chat as well as video chat. This is a major profit center for the agencies. There are also agencies who employ women just to entice men to buy the services of the web site. Here are the the red lights that have to turn on in your head (the one on the top): 1) All girls answer back to you (Dont they have a life, preferences...??) 2) There's no way to get their address, email, phone,...how the hell to contact them? This is a scam to keep paying forever. 3) When you email them to ask their address in odessa they refuse to give you the agency's address. 4)Try to tell your girl that you're visiting her soon. Hope you read this!! I have been on anastasia for about 5 months and have found several ways of trying to beat its system. It is pay per letter, so that is a big negative. To answer your questions... 1) Yes they answer back quickly, some same day, those I run away from because that may signify a girl/agency is in it for the $$$$. 2) You can get any info from girl but only in phone call through anastasia@ $3.99 a minute!!! You can get the girls postal address from her through letters if she gives it to you. 3) Why do you need agencies address??? Don't you get agencies phone number???? 4) Have only had that happen once, a sudden grandmother passing( not sure how real), met with each one and have nice time but just didn't work out. My thoughts are your girls either used you for money( letters) with no intention of meeting. Maybe try to pick a different type of girl. Intro letters are canned. Maybe if you show a personality or something that interests girl maybe meetings would be different....just a thought. I have recenty tried a new avenue to get girls contact info avoiding anastasia. I found a company to deliver flowers to girls( since I get postal addresses) and they try to get girls phone number for you. If girl doesn't speak english, they have an interpreter service( more incentive for them). You can always use any interpreter service you like. I think 1 girl I ran into a problem, she may be too influenced by her agency to use anastasia for phone service, if so, I will drop her, what a shame, we were doing so well, what this tells me is to find these things out as quickly as you possible. I don't use anastasia for very much other than letters. Another site, deliver flowers and try to get phone # for you. Use another site for translator calls( half the cost of anastasia. I have found out that I can give girls my ukrianian phone number in my letters, I will know for sure when I am in odessa, at least she thanked me for number and said her translator will call me!!! There are girls in anastasia that will answer your questions, maybe you just have some that don't, if you don't get your expectations met....find another girl. I plan to meet girls from between 1-3 months, don't want to be a letter writer on anastasia, $$$ go rather quickly as you said. Since I returned from Ukraine the girl I met there sms.s me nearly every day. I am also able to reply to her smses. I am on alltel and their customer service tells me that an sms to there costs the same as one to a stateside phone but they cannot guarantee delivery however I have not seen the phone bill yet to see if this is correct.
