They are about to finish the bridge from Kerch in Crimea to mainland Russia. I didn't think they could afford it. It is the longest bridge in Russia, they say. It does show Russia's resolve to keep Crimea.

Reading the article, finishing it will probably later than the projection date of December 2018. Problems include cost overruns, materials not available because of the sanctions and technical difficulties for the bridge builders that has become almost overwhelming.
