Late Friday afternoon they let us know that they needed 5kg of 2" nails, asking them if there was anything else they needed they said "no" so we drove in to town returning with the nails. No sooner had they started work the next morning than we received an SMS that they were low on Solignum and they had used all the diesel and needed more ... it's like this regularly, no matter how much I've tried to persuade them to think more than 5 minutes ahead they just don't have it in them to do so. This coming week girlfriend and I are shopping for supplies in the island main town on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday we're off up island buying and collecting nipa, then probably Thursday & Friday we're off to the mainland to buy 5 bathroom doors & jambs, masonary neutraliser, lots of pain, waterproofing compound, 19 wall lights, 10 door locks/handles and, if I can get them ordered in time, 10 wall fans & 3 ceiling fans.
