So your country is at war with Russia, you have been occupied and your countrymen killed and your people oppressed. The fight then is with the Russian Army or the Russian government not little babies at a school. These people are slimy cowards and did nothing to help their countrymen. They have put all Chechnyan peoples in a bad light and hurt their cause for independence, no matter how deserving they truly are. This is the worst act of cowardice there could be and needs to be recognized as such.
I don't think that it is quite that simple. It seems that the Chechen cause has been hijacked by Islamofascists who want to expand their ideology as far as possible. It is well know in the moslem world that Chechnya has become one of their causes along with other countries including the northern part of AUSTRALIA. http://english.pravda.ru/world/20/91/369/2065_australia.html It is time to wake up.
Chechnya can never be 'free' through acts of terror.
Should the terrorists 'win' and enter government, the population has every reason to be more scared than ever before.
The population would be 'free' to do *exactly* as the government told them.
Or else.
It is this simple Man do not kill children and babies at schools, have some balls and fight the soldiers or is that to tuff cause they shoot back. Go blow up Putin if you can but leave the innocents alone!
First of all, please get informed what Islam or other big religions are. Second, please do know what you are talking about (I mean your posting of an article about Islam). Third, every one who kills innocent people is terrorist. This includes Chechen milita who kills innocent children and also US mercenaries who carpet bombs civilian villages in Iraq. This has nothing to do with Islam or Christianity.
Regards
buran. I know what "big religions" are and I know what you are too. If you think that Beslan has nothing to do with Islam you're deluded and you're also as dangerous and stupid Neville Chaimberlain who thought that Hitler was peaceful. The people of the Arab world know and support the Chechen terrorists I've seen articles about it in their magazines urging women to strap on suicide suites. Also stating that they did not need their husbands permission to do this because they would be serving alla. At least ten of the terrorists that killed innocents in Beslan have been identified as Arab mercenaries. One of them bayoneted a child in the back because he asked for a glass of water. The overwhealming majority of attacks in the world like the massacre at Beslan are committed in the name of alla. I am singleing them out specifically because they are the only terrorist group threatening me, my family and friends at present. They declared war on me and I declared war on them and I will declare war on you too.
Killing infidels has a great deal to do with religion.
If you are convinced that infidels are not real people, you can kill them without feeling guilty.
And, if you think that infidels are not real people, you also think it is good to kill them.
Most terrorists are religious fanatics.
I have read every single post on this thread for the last 8 days since TGR said his painful, heartfelt words of compassion, pain and sympathy for the innocent families who watched their own children and relatives be massacred like cattle.....
And all you (deleted by moderator) are capable of doing is start a meaningless debate about whether the chechnyans are terrorists or not????....Even good old Olga got dragged into it.
May a herd of sick camels make bubbles on all of your baths waters for the next few weeks.
Why is it so hard for everyone here to take a step back and simply let the P A I N and S O R R O W seep into your hearts?
The mere thought of what happened to those children and their families is enough reason to bring any red bleeding human to tears.
There is no argument that can justify the methodical, premeditated and/or systematic murder of innocent children or civilians...russian, chechnyan, american, romulan or even clingon.
Please tell me what am I. Please don't hesitate on declaring war on me. What you can do is sit over there and throw your inner anger outside. I wrote 4 clear sentences, but I see that you did not understand and I will repeat:
1. Anyone who kills innocent people for whatever reason is terrorist
2. The terrorist act Beslan has both religious and freedom motives, but again this is terrorism and unacceptable.
3. I don't like the Arab World and I am not an Arab. For me, Chechen milita, El-Kaide, Israel government, US government and its satellites are all guilty for their conscious crimes against manhood. I know that the media over there does not reflect the happenings.
4. History is full of religious fanatics (Crusades, El-Kaide are just two examples).
The world is experiencing these crimes because either "sides" think that the other side is not caring about their innocent children.
If we will be caring the both the innocent children in 9/11, Beslan, Iraq and Chechnia who got kiiled consciosly and react in the same way, then the mankind will go further.
If you ever wish to argue about these things in an acceptable way, please use my e-mal address. I will not be posting in this subject anymore.
"I don't like the Arab World and I am not an Arab"
This sentence, I'm afraid, is getting contageous in the Western World.
Similar to 'Japanese' just after WW2, but see how that is changed.
There's only one keyword in the above - change.
Stubborn fefusal against this will cause severe problems in the future, mark not mine but Allah's words.....
Thunderdome, you are right. I should not have said such thing.
I wonder one thing. Let's put a child from every nation, race or religion into a garden. Would they play games and laugh without caring who their playmets are or would they kill each other?
I totally disagree - nothing wrong with saying something which is blatantly true. As blatant as the attention which has been drawn to it of late, rudely forced even.
And don't wonder, children are the epitome of innosence, it's why adults love them. In that garden they'll play, however nobody lives there - we each live in cultures, and these differ. If your culture indoctrinates you from the crib that if you die for a good cause you'll live on forever you will not fear death - which is an unnatural thing, your prime drive is to survive, but it makes for a near ultimate weapon.
Why do you think Pearl Harbour and 9/11 were such a big succes (they were!)?
read up a bit about the Zero's partaking? One huuuuge bomb, and zero (excuse the pun) fuel to return.
Same analogy, and Kamikaze is embedded in their culture - still. Harakiri anyone? If you think I'm wrong use a SE to look for suicide-statistics - just find the country with the highest one.
If a nation is in war with another one, then attacking military targets cannot be named fanaticism and ferocity. But if you violate the laws of war, then its something inhuman. Bombing a military naval base is not fanaticism, but bombing civilian towns with atomic bombs to force a nation surrender is .... (I cannot know a word for this).
War is a shitty business. I abhorr it even as an ex military man myself. No real soldier wants war, but will fight to defend his nation. I think there is a definate difference between the terrorist
movement and a unified war. Also civilians were killed at Pearl Harbor but there is always collateral victims in war. The difference
with the terrorist is the attack the civilian populace first to force
a government into action. The bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which I will defend Trumans actions were to force the population to
act against its imperial government. Along with saving countless
American and Allied lives. The wanton act that happened in Chechnya
is pure cowardice. So comparing terrorists to responses in a open declaration of war is not rational. As to Japan they declared war on
us, and they weren't the model for the Geneva convention. As few are
that are left around ask some of the WWII vets that served in the pacific and let them tell you about the death Marches. I'm a member
of the VFW here in Indiana and we are losing a precious resource in our vets from the pacific war. It really annoys the hell out of me when someone makes an issue about bombing civilian towns. First we did not declare war on Japan and second both towns Hiroshima and Nagasaki had military targets in it. It is sad that innocent people died along the way but that is war. If you don't believe they had
targets in them, Mitsubishi had major manufacturing centers there, they didn't just make cars in the 1940's. Along with NSK and some
major bearing manufacturers. So there is a distinct difference between
terrorism and Declared war. There is a difference between a terrorist and Freedom fighter. Freedom fighters don't use innocent women and children as pawns in their fight for freedom.
General Sherman said it best in his memoirs from the Civil War, you wage war against the populace so they think hard about raising arms against any one nation again.
I am trying to understand your point of view, Mike and thank you for sharing information with us. Sure, Mitsubishi was manufacturing war birds, why did the US army not target just the manufacturing sites with conventional bombs? It is very simple and the simple truth is still vaild for US government today in Iraq: to minimize the losses. American lives are much more important than the other lives, even innocent and civil. Do you think that you have the right to bomb the civilians just beacuse their government declared war on you first?
I absolutely aggree with you about the fact that the terrorist acts in Chechnia are cowardice.
Why the hell are the Israeli jets taking off with nuclear weapons in dangerous situations?
US has the right to develop nuclear and chemical weapons, also Israel, so why not N. Korea and Iran?
