Visitors visas are available Scoot,but the requirements for obtaining these are extremely restrictive......eg proof of income (substantial),business reasons (checkable),and an awful lot more which are too much to list here. They know the dodges that people try and almost all of the loopholes are firmly closed.........consider also how this girls family might feel....about how you might feel!!......allowing your daughter to travel to another country to meet a guy she has never seen before.....would you in all honesty feel comfortable with that??? I know as a father I wouldn't!!! Earn her respect Scoot...as well as her family's.......go see her.It's no big deal for you to go to Russia,you will surprise yourself at the warmth of the welcome you get!!..:))

Absolutely! If one of the reasons you are looking for a lady in the FSU is for family values, then you also have to respect those same values.

Scoot, yes, it's very important to visit her family in Russia. And the second truth is that to get visa for unmarried girl without kids to UK is very difficult. I'm Russian girl how only once wanted to go abroad for tourism and when I knew WHAT I had to go through!!!! For example have document about huge salary, I never had!!! What to ask her: we like compliments and like to be cared. Tell her she is the best girl on the earth. When my boy-friend from France writes me so, well, I feel happy. Neve heard such words from my former husband. Don't be surprised what you see in Russia, our country is rather peculiar place..but I can say we are very hospitable. I wish you luck. Russian woman

-1 ....it's even for Lugansk in Ukraine (which is more on south then Tomsk) is a warm weather, especially for winter. -1 is not that cold, just cool. And for winter this is a warm weather. It will be -1 (here in Lugansk) in October - Novermber, first at night, then in the morning...
