I get the impression that if we were all in the same room - this thread alone would have contained six or seven "group-hugs" (attempted anyway by shaggy and wess - I certainly would have stepped away). I have no problem being "sensitive" with the ladies I am involved with. In fact I have been most often described - by them as (blush) "tender" (and I'm not talking about my midsection here). But among other guys - touchy feely isn't me. It is (unfortuantely) the hallmark of a man who has been hurt before and is now picking up the pieces. That's not me either. Shaggy - you admit you have been here only six weeks yet you advocate wholsesale chages in the forum based on what some Russian ladies have told you. Well, I'm a guy whos' been here almsot two years, and this is a Men's Forum, and I like things JUST THE WAY THEY ARE. And if telling you so and not agreeing with you is insensitive ans you try to change the world (one person at a time or several) then I am INSENSITIVE to you. (But not to ladies. See the difference there?) Perhaps the only thing tht this thread proves beyond the shadow of a doubt is that we are NOT in comptetion for the same ladies (which is not a bad thing). Because the ones looking for my personality traits are certainly not looking for yours. And those looking for your personality traits are certainly not looking for mine. jetmba. With the end of the political campaign we are hearing fewer messages on television but other things remain the same. It never ceases to amaze me how social liberals, who advocate free expression and free speach - seem to spend all of their time telling those who don't agree with them to shut up. Social liberals promote gay right, and women't rights, and children's rights and this program and that program. They SEEM to promote tolerance and acceptance and that everyone is free to be themselves. But if you speak out AGAINST abortion, AGAINST, social spending programs, in FAVOR of religion - you are quickly told to shut up by these supposedly broadminded individuals. There is really no tolerance there at all - but just a need to push their own agenda. I see the same thing appearing in the this forum as I read over the threads. Over and over and over again the same people write about nothing except their right to be heard - and they decry those who criticise what they write. Those who had criticised (for legitimae reasons all the time) have laid the matter to rest. But those whoi intend to impose their own cnesorship can't seem to stop talking about how BAD they are made to look, and how "everyone deserves to be heard." It seems that the supposed defenders of free speach here are actually the least tolerant. We ALL deserve the right to be heard. Even those who disagree with you.
