Oksana look high mantainence. General I stay away from any girl who when asked to describe herself tells you how good looking she is. We all have eyes. The only thing a girl telling us this tells us is that she knows it and will expect certain tretment because of it
A dedicated shop steward was at a convention in Las Vegas and decided
to check out the local brothels.
When he got to the first one, he asked the madame, "Is this a union
house?"
"No, I'm sorry it isn't."
"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20."
Mightily offended at such unfair dealings, the man stomped off down
the street in search of a more equitable shop.
His search continued as long as you want to draw things out, until
finally he reached a brothel where the madame said, "Why yes, this is
a union house."
"And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."
"That's more like it!" the man said. He looked around the room and
pointed to a stunningly attractive redhead. "I'd like her for the
night."
"I'm sure you would, sir," said the madame,... gesturing to a fat
fifty-year-old woman in the corner, "...but Bertha here has seniority!"
it seems now becaue of this I have been automaticaly registered at another site called behappy2day.com I got a letter from a very pretty girl from tver. In fack on the front page it offers a map of Tver so I am guessing it is Tver based. I need a credit to read the letter and it a minimum of $10US for 2 credits to read the letter. I guess the whole thing was just bait
Oh trust me not ALL of the women writing me are eyecandy... Besides, I'm doing this for fun and out of curiosity. I already met a girl from here that I am very happy with.
ID: No doubt. Man I got an email from a girl bride.ru who's profile says she's looking for a wealthy man. LOL
2 more letters from the new site today. Not eveb believable as they asked in an email if I could post a photo of myself. Why would girl adfter girl write to a profile with no picture.
i signed up to them because all the pretty girls were writing to me everyday.
they got my money and i have not seen or heard from nobody since.
my letters go unanswered not one reply oh i think this great way to learn a lesson
Bride.ru is a site infested with scammers, women who are not serious or just professional daters out to gain money. They do not verify the identity of girls on there site and profiles are submitted via the internet and the girls not interviewed by this agency.
They are very expensive and on each of there pages there are "model like" women, the so called bait to get men to sign up but the saying "if it looks too good, to be true, it generally is not true" is very applicable for Bride.ru...I call it a junk dating machine as they maintain old and outdated profiles and its likely many of the girls are not around or available anymore.
I have had experience with this site, Bride.ru and it is a waste of time and money...there are far better dating agencies out there and its on black list of agencies at antiscam.net
A scammer bit me in the ass for $500 aud and she came from Bride.ru and was my first experience with them.
Even today, they send me a "daily digest"..an e-mail showing a catalogue of new women that have joined..they get around 200 girls a week joining up and they got thousands of profiles, mostly in the Gold section, where you pay expensive monthly fees to join to access the womens addresses, many of which are bogus.
A crap site..steer well clear of it people!
How than they guarantee 700 beautiful Russian brides per week, 700 new ladies evert week, 100 per day. How can they predict that 700 new ladies will register with them each week or is it more the case that bride.ru steal, copy & paste, 700 profiles from other websites each week!
martin, bride.ru one of the first site in traffic rating. they have enough visitors to get 700 members in a week. and nobody as we all know can know who is scammer who is not on the dating site. one must be carefull as we have discussed many time. I am sure match and other date coms have ore scammers than bride.ru per visitor
Lot of bad reports on bride.ru in anti scam forums. They seem to be happy to take your monthly mrmbership money ( I think its $49.95 usd a month for silver membership that gives you access to addresses of the silver section girls..the less attractive but okay girls as rated by them and $99.95 usd a month for the sexy girls of model quality as selected and rated by them but either way the addresses you get are unverified, do not work and there is no support from the site if there are problems )
I bought a silver membership for 2 months in 2004 and then axed it when I realised what a waste it was....most of my e-mails were never replied to or addresses found to be non-existent with an ip trace/e-mail address verification.
I had a devil of a time cancelling the monthly auto debits on my credit card and had to go to my bank to get it stopped.
A good set of free on-line utiliies to trace/verify ip addresses, e-mail addresses and domains is found at www.centralops.net
I don't recommend bride.ru at all....its a b of an agency.
Im not active for more than a year in the FSU internet bride search thing and have dismissed it as an option for me.
Everyone has different circumstances and experiences.
I got settled and found a local girl on ICQ chat and we meet up and its now 18 months latter and we are still going strong..your dream girl can be half way across the world or 2 miles down the road as it was for me.
There are probably some very nice and deserving FSU girls on the internet who are genuine..the trouble is to find the good and compatable one as the scene is being ruined by scammers and scamming agencies..its a shame.
I have been too vocal in my criticisms of FSU girls..the facts are good and bad girls exist in every culture, everywhere from the flea speck town to the largest of cities!
You need to be careful with ANYONE who you meet on the internet until you meet them in person and really get to know them.
DON'T SEND ANYONE YOU MEET ON THE INTERNET ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE PERSONALLY MEET AND REALLY KNOW THEM..YOU WOULD'NT GIVE $1000 TO A STRANGER IN THE STREET SO WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU SEND $1000 HALF WAY ACROSS THE WORLD TO A PERSON YOU HAVE NEVER MEET..IT CAN BE A REAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO SIFT OUT THE SCAMMERS FROM THE REAL DEAL BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWAKE AND CAN SMELL THE COFFEE!
Im of the opinion, if you are seeking a Russian/Ukraine/FSU girl, maximum of 10 years age difference..if you are 42 like me look for a girl in there thirties..don't go and get a thing in there twenties that is young enough to be your daughter as it will not work..younger girls for younger men..older girls for older men..the general rule of relationships anywhere.
On bride.ru, the majority of the girls are in there late teens/early twenties age group.
How can a young 18 year old girl on such a dating site be serious and put in there profile, seeking man up to 45 years of age..lets be serious here..don't get involved with babies and try and marry them as it will not work..this bride.ru. markets a hell of a lot of model like "young babies"
Bride.ru is a joke and can not be taken seriously..the coffee is bad over there and don't smell or taste great..like the free coffee down at my local bingo hall!...avoid!
Aussieman,
Yes, a few years ago I received very few replies to my letters and exactly the same problem as you, they continued to take the money despite cancelling my subscription.
Bride.ru may get enough visitors to get 700 new members in a week but they are/were guaranteeing 700 new 'brides' (a bride being something that is married thus not readily available) and taking one's money based on such a guarantee and they weren't achieving their guarantee, sure they had a lot of new profiles but nowhere close to 700 a week, every week.
Bride.ru gets more like 200 new profiles a week and I have seen quite a lot that repeat in space of a few weeks.
I sometimes look at the "daily digest" e-mails I get from them showing there new members and come across a few I have encountered in years past and corresponded with ( even if there was no reply from the other end...the usual scenario with them )...you pay a lot monthly for a service but don't get a service..it makes me wonder, if a lot of there profiles are fake just to get you to sign up monthly and pay your fees.
The term "bride" is a joke too..."a bride is someone who is not available and committed to be married" and therefore not single and available as I agree with you, Martin...they are already on there way to the altar.
The bride.ru site seems to be a mix of fakers with a few real woman thrown in..its like adding a bit of truth to a heap of lies and getting it so its hard to distinguish the lies from the truth..the ingredients of say 6 ounces of lies with one ounce of truth.
But there are some "obvious model like to good to be true" things on each page of the site and there are hundreds of pages with about 40 or so women on each page!
Guys,I never signed up but had posted my profile. Met with 8 girls when in Moscow and St Petersburg. Ended up kissing with 7, in bed with one. Trust me, this stuff is real.
I can confirm that some of the women on Bride.ru are real and not scammers or professional hookers or something. Because I was one of the genuine girls who joined the site 3 weeks ago, and the agents called me and verified all my data, my name, age, address, etc.
BUT! there's a big fat BUT! I started getting lots of letters from sex-tourists, some old bags asking me to send my nude photos, or just old guys 50+, although I set strict age frames 30-35 years old.
Look, I had 3 girls out of about 30 on bride.ru, that in my opinion were real and I wrote to them for a time but it did not work out and everyone moved on...I have not seen the real girls I wrote too back on the site ever again.
I got a lot of junk mail from the site and a lot of no replies but there was about 5 who did reply out of about 3 dozen or so I attempted communication with and 3 continued with me for periods of 2 to 6 months.
You were too hasty in removing your profile from there, Elena in my opinion.
You will get junk mail from that site and mail from people who choose not to read your profile properly and you just ignore them and delete it to the trash bin but eventually someone may visit that site, find your profile and bingo, this man could be a real treasure find for you and it could change your life.( not in ways of money but in love)
Give it more of a chance...all dating sites will have what we call in Australia "drop kicks" ( no hopers and undesireables ) try and contact you and you simply delete such junk mail.
I found my ex-wife in the days before the internet by accident in a newspaper advertisement for a marriage agency I was with...something told me to make contact with this girl and I did and it lead to correspondence and a personal visit to her country, a romance and marriage and I bought her to Australia to a new life.
She was a girl from a poor village in a remote area of Fiji, where in those days few white men had ever visited...I came in there like a white knight, was the talk of the village, swept her of her feet and took her away to a better life and I had 3 kids with her and despite the divorce after 12 years of marriage and even today she acknoweledges "that I made her life"...it was the fairytale by the average working man..I was not rich but I could give her a comfortable life.
Getting back on track, Elena and others you must have faith and beleive in the fairytale and you will have to weed out the undesireables on the road to get there and it may take a long time..it took me 3 years to find my first wife and I had meetings with unsuited women just as you will encounter both on dating sites, whether you are a man or a woman.
You may never get there..you need to have a number of options to meet partners other than the internet or marriage agencies..it really is all luck and there will always be men out there with the attitude to women "I will just shag them and leave them and go to the next shag" and women with the attitude "I will never commit to this man but I will screw him out of waht money and things I can get from him and then dump him" but I think 60% of men and women are honest, but 40% have questionable integrity and attitudes..it is just human nature and some people lie better than others.
On bride.ru, there will be scammers, professional daters, not serious or committed women mixed in with some honest women and a lot of luck is required to weed out the unsuitable and undesireable from that lot, in the same way an honest Russian woman will get replies from unsuitable men and idiots...there is always two sides to the coin..two sides to everything and you can only learn from experience.
I hope these words of wisdom, help..everyone needs to be wary of whom they are in contact with on the internet as it is so faceless and follow the simple anti-scam rules that are well known here and this one "Never send money to a person whom you have never personally meet and know from the internet..don't give money to a complete stranger for any reason!"
Dear aussieman41, thank you for your kind reply :)
you know, bride.ru is not the only one dating site in the world, so if I change my ming, I'll find 1000 other sites:)
well, one of the reasons to remove my profile was the attitude of Western men towards East European women. Maybe attitude is a wrong word - more like general opinion. Like, all Russian women on dating sites are only after money and higher living standards, they'd marry anybody with American, Canadian or Western European passport and so on. Yes yes yes, I understand that lots of Western men had a bad experience, and this notoriety of Russian/Ukrainian/Moldavian/third world counries women is well deserved. Even you write about it: "not in ways of money but in love", "I bought her to Australia to a new life" :)
Sincerely, I find such an attitude (not yours though:)) a bit offensive, I live in Moscow, have a good job and earn enough money, can afford travels an so on, I never wrote in my profile that I look for "generous man" or something. So I simply don't want to be assosiated with that kind of women. That's it:)
Actually, 1 nice guy wrote to me eventually, we correspond, and plan to meet soon. Let's see what'll come out of it.
