Believe me that the situation of beeing chased by girls is something you can value only there. Thunder, as for courses I have never heard or made such, what we really do is teach how to write letters, actually most girls are rather formal, closed in what they write because it is in our mentality to open rather late to an unknown person. So yesterday I had to speak about for an hour to a couple girls telling them how to treat at least the person they are writing to not to make this letter a resume. Just take into account that the average live duration of a man is some 17 years less than of a woman. Men, especially of the "middle" (30-40 years) and of mature(40-55) are ingeneral the lost generation in majority. The collaps of USSR made it so that most of them lost belief in anything they had, new conditions demanded new approaches and they were used to the system where somebody was always thinking for them. All this made the situation even worse. Many guys really began to drink even harder tan earlier, many tried to do something but finally failed because the new generation with faster legs and sharper teeth was more ready for this life. The statistics is that the majority of men dying passes at around 40-48 because of the heart attacks. And in general for some reason may be it is only my city but here absolutely more girls than men. When I was studying at the university (language department) our current was about 130-140 people out of whom only 10 were guys. Yes, phylology was always considered here a woman's sphere but still... For me it is absolutely not a plus in general meaning, may be of course a good thing as it gives good grounds for business. Nothing more. Why is it that your women seems to be smart enough or able to take advantage of it, but men do not or cannot? Statistically in the west, the men groups you refer to are in far different stages of life. The men in the 30-40 age group are generally still married to their first wife, approaching divorce or going through it. Their income is stable and their career is established but not yet peaked at maximum performance. Men in the 40-55 group are often already divorced, once at least. Their employment income or business careers have peaked already, and their single status gives them the ability to save/invest more than the younger group. Despite the age difference and the natural human 'wear and tear' that age brings, US men 40-55 are far from being considered 'lost or dying'. I I am not mistaken of course average life duration for men here was about 49 years just a couple years ago. Women are surprisingly more "life-resisting"!:-) They live longer than 67 years . Though their life was no easier. I am not a doctor, don't know why. Believe, that everyone has access to education but I have not told that your position in life and your education are tied anyhow. Very often(almost always) getting an education does not mean anything except beeing... an educated and cultured chap!:-) It is good to speak to such a person, he or she is usually smarter than those who don't have this University degree but still your salary will not rise anyhow... Sad, take me. I have two University diplomas, one in English and Russian Phylology and another in Business administration and Administrative law. This would guarantee something not bad in the US but here it is nothing. I have raised my Son on my own since he was 18 months old. I noticed a major difference in the amount of interest I would get from women (American) because of it. One thing I did notice is the quality of these women interested was above average, marry-able types with good backgrounds. Maybe Russian women are the higher caliber of a women in some way like these women that have approached me and this does not bother them... ???? My daughter will be 10 this year and I raised her from the same age as you by myself. Most of the girls here scoffed at the idea of me being a single dad raising my girl. My boys supported my search and have read most of my correspondence to my bride to be. The secret is to make the whole thing a family “Deal.” She has a young son also and my boys are excited to have a new brother. I found that women in the US are just too selfish to deal with single fathers. I guess they live by the total rules of (1) what is in it for me and (2) I want the bennirs but not the work. This is the country where females rule everything.. If a man and a woman is applying for a job in Norway, and they have the same qualifications.. The law says the female have the first right to take the job... It doesn't matter if the man is more positive and would fit into the environment better, the female still get the job.. because she is female.. I have nothing against females who work, but I just think that in the western parts of the world, the female liberation is about to go too far.. It will not be long untill a male liberation is needed... So when we talk about the single mummys, or the women of the western parts, i really think the fight for womens right have some blame in it.. In Norway it can almost look like the government wants to have single mummys. A single mom here will get so much money from the government she does not have to work at all.. My ex wife are making more money than what is average income in Norway without having another job than to be home with the childen.. Of course I think it is great that they are supported by the government, but at the same time they are making the man somehow superfluous in some aspects. It has become too easy to kick someone to the curb, and people seems to have forgotten to fight for their relationships. The females here have an attitude I don't like too much.. They can be fat, skinny, ugly, pretty, but it seems like all of them are really into "Girl power"... I hope I was not stepping on somones toes... I am not asking for a girl/woman that accept everything in life. It is great that they have own opinions, and that the can support themselves as well. The thing I mean is wrong is that the government, with their "good" system encourages females to be single, because it is great business. It is better paid than for some of them to work. I know for a fact some women that are having children with complete strangers just to collect the money, do you think that is good? I don't... I am not hostile against any females, I just think it would have been better if the system helped couples more, if the familys had the same help, maybe they would still be together? I think there is a lot of relationships breaking up because of fights over too little income... Dear Annika, I am happy about our good social system in Norway, I only think it would have been better if they helped couples to stay together instead of rewarding the ones that settle for being single.. And just for the record: I think it is wonderful that Estonian women work, I have nothing against it. Because of lack of english knowledge I am sure this will come out wrong any how I put it. Our single mothers dont get any help, but we still have lots of single mothers. And lets look it in other way. We have here very small population and we need more. They already started to pay so called mothers salary one year and things are going better. Instead of bringing immigrants lets better women get birth kids with man or not. I have never heard of any other country that is more openhearted to immigrants as Norway. Some few years ago a passenger airplane was hijacked somewhere in Russia by some Iranian terrorists, the hijackers forced the plane to Norway and Oslo airport, what happened? The hijackers were taken care of, by giving them a Norwegian passport, home, furnitures, they were given work and whatever they would need to get started. I would believe they would in most countries been killed/arrested and then sent out of the country. These guys were terrorists. They were given the hospitality because Norwegian government was afraid they would be severly punished in their homecountry... Go figure.. In march 2003 was a terror attack against Norway stopped by police in the last minute, this Afghan terrorist (Basir Ahmad Rahmani) are as we are having this discussion in Norway for the 8th time since the attack was stopped. I don't believe many countries would let him in at all...
