JJ. For sure it is so. The experience can be not pleasant for all parts. I was not meaning you when mentioning endless letters it was my general oppinion. You can't judge, I have acces to just huge ammount of information and to hundreds of cases. For some reason too many men here(actually not those who are on the forum) make some more then stupid and sometimes even insulting things. I understand that sometimes you treat agencies, girls, sites just because you saw some trash somewhere. So I think my humble aim is at least to show that it is not always so, I am still sure that most girls are honest and most agencies are honest. But a small spoon of oil spoils the whole bukket of honey... Sad.

Well spoken, and I am glad we cleared this up. I am nevertheless somewhat surprised that many look at writing letters as almost a chore - whereas I view it as the only thing we have with these ladies, for the most part. Few men here speak Russian (I am working intensively at it) and not too many ladies speak our languages well. I called once with an interpreter, and it is of course very expensive, and not everybody feels comfortable talking about personal things with a 3rd person in the middle. I also believe that if 2 people are willing to take the time to get to know each other through letters it shows more of a commitment to the success of the relationship, which will for sure be necessary if things go well and the lady moves to the West. Just my humble opinion.

Surely a person who watches his/her money carefully in general (incl. scrutinising bills, etc.) will have more money to be generous with when it comes to his/her family!

I would like to add that unlike many of you I don't make that much money but hey I do have plastic. Like most of my fellow Americans we have run up 2 trillion dollars in debt and counting. God help the rest of you when this ship of fools sinks.

I pay my credit card in full inmediately if not before the bill is in my mailbox. When your ship of fools sink people like me will own the damn leftovers. BTW, if you don't make much money, what keeps you from doing it? toad
