Most, if not every culture has different ways and attitudes of how a relationship should be conducted. Those 'tablets' are a direct copy and paste from another website, I, for one, do not need to be told how to conduct a relationship with a fellow European!
No offence intended, but I don't want an American designer relationship nor marriage, both my lady and I are Europeans.
I hasten to add, the very guys who dreamt up those tablets are the first to break their own number 11 when they say you should pay for the lady's correspondence!
Hey QC- And here I thought the tablets of stone were your own words. Next I find out you didn't even write the lovely poem in another thread. I guess next you'll be telling everyone that "Man in a Van" was actually a friend of yours!
Quiet Charm,
I'm off to Ukraine, for the 4th time this year, on Saturday 18 December until 03 January. Have recently split, very amicably, with one UA lady thus moving on to the next.
Nothing personal intended regarding those tablets but they go too far and I get somewhat tired of the guys on RWG, who might only have travelled once or twice during their lives, forcing their opinions down others throats.
Yes, there is some good advice in them but they go too far, what does 'be a man' mean? Do I really need an RWG guy to explain to me how to be a man? Perhaps I should don a yellow track suit and pop off down McDonalds!
'I get somewhat tired of the guys forcing their opinions down others throats.'
Then you wont find any relief here.
I hope to do Odessa and surrounds in the spring for up to 4 months. Flights are pretty cheap for us, as you know, although I will probably go via St.P.. not sure yet. Your experience would be invaluable.
QC,
I always try to fly with Ukraine International Airlines, just join their 'Panorama Club' before you fly and you get complimentary business class lounges (free alcohol).
I'm probably going to Odessa this trip also, I know of a Ukrainian website where domestic tickets are approx USD55, or there is www.aerosvit.ua for travel in Ukraine and via www.kelkoo.co.uk I recently found return tickets from Kiev to Moscow cost GBP95, wouldn't imagine SPb is that much more expensive.
With regards to RWG I just find, my personal opinion, many of the guys consider themselves the world's leading authority on FSU ladies, how can any guy claim to be a leading authority on a woman I ask myself, particularly when they are half a world away!
Hi Martin
I've been twice to St.P & Moscow and used an agency in Riga and Tallinn for visas. Very cheap if you can wait a few days. Mind if I ask who did you use for visas for FSU and Ukraine? How much and did it include the invitation?
QC,
The Ukrainian Embassy/Consulate in London, just apply for a 'private' visa, complete on the form the name & address of the person you are visiting, no sponsorship nor anything required and you download the application form online. Take a look:
I checked out kelkoo... looks good. I also use www.skyscanner.net which includes some of the low cost carriers and www.cheapflights.co.uk which has some great deals.
