Also credit cards are accepted in many places in Kiev. Trust me it's Kiev, but it is pretty western. I had no problem using any of the above items for money. Pay the Sherbourne in cash, it's the best way and Tell Anna and Vlada, Mike and Larissa say hello. Also my friend you will be surprised what the less expensive rooms at the Sherbourne are like. They fill up quick but I can already see why, the service via email I have received is excellent! Has anybody used VIP service at the airport or any suggestions as to whether it will speed up customs at the airport? I wish my airfare was that cheap nomad, although I'm flying out of Salt Lake to Detroit. And then onto Paris and Kiev. So in reality my domestic tickets weren't too bad and with this trip I should have enough air miles to plan a 2nd trip if the need arises. :) I am still about a month away and totally stoked about going!!!
