It is popular in FSU and East Europe. Its just unfortunate the scammers I came across all used it and some people in other forums have told me that they have been scammed by scammers who use this software as there communications vehicle. The fact that the girl, Elena I wrote too for 8 months ended up in a scammer database 2 months after it ended and I never put it there only confirmed my suspicions of her..she was a scammer and I wasted hundreds of dollars on her..how stupid I was not to pick it up sooner. The thing has left a somewhat bitter taste in my mouth. Elena can go f... herself if she is a real person or hairy boris or scam gang operative. There is another girl in development now from Kharkov and I really think she is a real person. I am being much more careful and wary now. In my case, almost all scam attempts originated via Outlook Express, yet I know "The BAT" is more popular. I simply would not take the software used into account as a factor when estimating the probability of a scam unfolding. One could even argue that someone who uses Outlook Express is better equipped than the rest because it requires more computing power, and therefore must be a financially sucessful scammer. I now check all IP addresses of initial incoming emails from FSU "girls". When I see a "point of origin" from outside the FSU (usually, these come from the "good ol' USA"), I naturally become very suspicious! But I haven't been able to determine if this DEFINITELY indicates non-FSU origin, or if it is only one non-definite factor, among many. Better is to grab the IP address, and do an IP Trace on it. A geolocational IP address tracer will give you the country, state and city, find out what host served that IP address. First is to find out if she says she has a laptop. IP trace shows isp is pretcher net in Dneproptrovisk, nearby major city 130 km away routed to and from server in Krivoy Rog. The server IP she sends mail up to is static and is in a batch range of reserved ip addresses for class c private networks. Who is search through IANA..Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, international authority that assigns all IP addresses does not identify private owner of the private network she uses. The IP address is 192.168.88.195 and identified as part of a free mail address run by pretcher.dp.ua Any of you guys more learned than me shed some more light on this ip address. It is sent to the pretcher server "zeus" which has an IP address of 91.196.80.2 before it is sent from there to me. Krivoy Rog appears to be a proxy address from where it is sent to the pretcher net mail server. I got a very big thankyou when she got her magnum darts set present from me on last Friday, sent to check her out..she says she has got the best darts set in K.R now..not much for me to buy and send it to the poor girl out of genorosity of my heart..I hope its a good move but gut tells me in long run, I will have egg on my face and feel stupid..time will tell here for sure! I am very sceptical and suspicious..a small gift that she likes might reveal something more. The IP address of 91.196.80.2 is a mail/internet server located about 15 numbers up from where she does live in Krivoy Rog which is connected to a private network of computers, it is an actual internet cafe she uses in one of its main central streets..its registered and geo location is K.R with a local contact telephone and admin person registered. An internet cafe is a private network of computers sharing one central mail and internet server with a static IP address on the internet and she uses the same computer all the time, she must reserve it at certain times as it has her free mail account on it. The shared computers is like a sub-network seperated physically from the internet by the central server which assigns reserved ip addresses away from the internet for each computer connected to it. Its a real internet cafe, walking distance from her apartment. Its getting a little bit more encouraging, she claims she has no computer of her own and is trained as an accountant but does clerical work for one of the iron ore mining companies there that is state owned. It can not be trusted. Zebra does not change its stripes, not even after 2 years, once a scammer, always a scammer, like a thief, once a thief, always a thief! She was kicked off a dating site for wrong doing and questionable ethics. The plugs been pulled on that one and I don't feel bad at all..actually relieved to catch before I spent too much money on her. The morals of Ukraine and FSU women on the internet, many questionable, very few can ever be trusted! Without engendering trust, no relationship can ever happen!..oh they try to fool you to get you to trust them and hand over money. What kind of girls ( some can go to such lengths, marry a guy on a fiance visa, come to his country, spend the necessary 2 years to get a green card or whatever and then dump him and clean in him out financially and never loved him, just the money ) can do these things to honest men and sleep at night soundly! Its popular software, easy to use and inexpensive which was developed in the Czech Republic, I believe and is well liked by Russians etc. You can easily set it up to work with FSU free mail servers and to send multiple e-mails and you don't need to be an I.T Specialist. Cheap, user friendly, works with all free mail, multiple e-mails, built in intelligent designing of e-mails ( got foreign language spelling and grammar checker I believe )..its an affordable easy e-mail solution for our FSU comrades. and makes it hard to trace e-mails to there real source..great for scammers as well as real people. Its so good, I might even use it myself..better than microsoft shit!
