I have been fretting about Marina all day and suddenly it hit me that nothing I can do will change anything so I let it go. She will just have to be sick without me. Her assistant's mug looked like a sack full of hammers set off by sensible shoes - Russian style. The thing is I that have already decided that something else will happen when I go back in the summer. So I already asked Marina to get me a booking at the same hospital. I'm hoping for a morning appointment so we can do something in the afternoon. I was thinking of something not too painful but spectacular so as to garner the most sympathy.
