I strongly feel that the agency writers were the ones who were pumping out the replies to me from their selection of women on the sight here who had no idea i was even writing to them. Either the agency was just using their photos as fodder to garnish business or when i finally announced an arrival date they contacted these women to tell them of me and these women looked at me and my letters for the first time and declined.Or , they were just stolen or borrowed photos and profiles and the girls had no idea. After all , marriage agency`s are suppose to be one of the biggest growth industries in the FSU. After i locked horns with the agency owner of Katrin Agency over this she said she will produce photos and profiles of ladies who are interested for real when i showed up. Well she did give me profile numbers to look at on my PC and man were these women ugly and homely. I mean the worst . I am not the only one this has happened to . So you see men , the prettier the more cautious you should be. You are right JET, you cant hide behind your computor at a social. This, of course, might be comfort to the women who might be scammers, meaning that there is little chance that a guy - even sending money - is likely to actuallu show up. Personally, I have never sent money to a girl I hadn't met and gone out with at least a few times. In total there are THREE FSU women I have ever sent money to - as I mentioned I had gone out with ALL of them. One I sent a grand total of $40 to (whooo hooo!), another - altogether $160 (over the course of six months) - the last (my fiance) I've sent a hell of a lot more than that to - but she IS my fiance. My lady's good natured inquiry as to whether I just expected her to do all the cooking and cleaning - came after she and her mother had watched a Russian made movie on Moldovan television. It was called something like "American Bride" and it was all about American guys coming to the FSU - pretending to be rich and sophisticated, and then taking their wide-eyed-brides home to work as sex slaves, and domestic slaves. Mommy was terrifified about this film and my fiance didn't feel much better. THEY wonder why we have come such a long way and at such great expenxe to find a FSU bride. They know that traditionally cooking and cleaning in a FSU home was the domain of FSU women and they know that WE know that was the case as well. They are also aware that American women bawk at doing cooking and cleaning - so they figure we are going over there to get an FSU woman who will do what we can no longer GET American women to do (cooking and cleaning). I'm guessing that mosr would be more flexible when they come to the west, especially after realizing that most western women are not quite so rigid in their demands and that MOST western women who DO demand that cooking and cleaning be split 50/50 also work time outside the house. We no longer have the concept of "housewife" here.
