I have. But, as long as you are not seeking money, there should be no reason for anyone to suspect you as such. As for traveling to meet a lady, I have not gone yet and have been writing for several months. That does not mean I am not sincere. Given the length of time it takes to receive a response from a lady and the short amount of stuff that they write you might get two or three short letters in a month from a lady. That's hardly enough information to think she is your future wife and to use one of the 3 short weeks of vacation we get a year and a $3,000 or more to go see her when we don't really know much about her at all. I have written to some lady's for 3 or more months before deciding I knew enough about them to know they were not my soul mate. So, if a guy writes to you for a few months but has not hopped on the plane, that does not mean he is not sincere. Also, please keep in mind that many of the guys who are 40 or more and divorced have already been through a tough time in the divorce process in America. They have seen how much they can get hit with financially and emotionally and are going to be cautious in choosing their future partner. They are all seeking a life long marriage and have learned a few things from the school of hard knocks. So, expect them to ask probing and even difficult questions. After all, it is their life too, and this is their shot at finding their true partner. It does them no good to quickly pick a lady, get married and then have her head back to FSU, or some other guy, the next year. I think there are enough geniune, good, kind and loving people out there that if you keep to the plan you will meet your soul mate.
