Sometimes the profiles were a little off the mark. One girl claimed not to smoke - but she did like a chimney. One girl claimed to have no children - and over dinner told me of her twin seven-year-olds. One girl claimed to speak excellent English but certainly did not. This one SEEMED to be a scammer (possibly a hooker) but her English was so bad, I kept getting conflicting clues. One girl I met though was just about perfect. He was lying about his age (by about 10 years) to the ladies and had neglected to mention to them that he held group sex etc. 'orgies' at his house. I asked him for how long he expected to get away with lying about his age, he hadn't really thought about it before. I told him he was a silly sod, he could never let a lady see his passport ad as soon as he may apply for a lady's visa he has to put his DOB on the paperwork, for her to see. The small town agency is the way to go but all agencies can have either a scam girl or a scam administrator. I've seen it all. The only thing we can do is too be aware and take a chance. Worse case you lose $20 to $100 on any one particular agency or girl before you realize your being scammed. But like I said for every bad girl out there you will meet many many good ones. Van, your friend must have either had some bad luck or drew the attention to himself by acting like he was the King. If I combine all my trips in Ukraine they will equal about 8 months. During those 8 months I was in the nightclubs at least 4 times a week. Not one problem with the locals. Sometimes I was offered to drink with them. Now if you're stupid and act like a fool in their club they will go after you. Also, don't be stupid and hit on every girl you see. Do your home work. Make sure she is there alone or with girlfriends. You hit on their girl and you will get attacked. But if you play smart and keep a low key you will have a great time in their clubs. Usually 7 to 3 female to male ratio. I love those odds! As to the girls I'm going after. Yes, they are the model quality. But if I'm going to strap 100 tons of metal to my ass and fly over there and then spend about $4000 then I'm going to make it worth my while. If they are real and available when I get there I always get the second date. Later on I may lose them but I have done very very well over there and that is why I keep going back. Sooner or later I will capture the girl of my dreams and she will capture me. I wont settle for anything less. I'm not afraid of failure and going home alone. Because I have become such a 'regular' in Zaporozhye, even if she's working and I'm by myself, all the staff's know and regard me as if I'm one of their own. I guess wherever you go in this world, if you're a 'rich' foreigner and by yourself, well! As long as you're in the company of locals then things are different. I also believe you are in your 40's ( you are receiving letters from girls 25 and 27 years your junior). But, the four girls you are writing about are all between 18 and 22 years old. Now I am not saying all young girls are scammers, but I do think it is a little strange to think that an 18 year old girl is so serious about marriage, especially to a 40 something year old man. Does it really surprise you if these young girls are playing games or "scamming"? Sure they look great but really.....will they make a good wife for you? Or are you just playing games with them too? I know it is not impossible, but it's a long shot to find a good match with a girl 20+ years younger. I'm not trying to be rude, but it just doesn't make much sense to me. Most of the young hot girls we see on the sites are either recruited by the agencies or just doing it for fun. And yes, I agree it is a long shot in finding one of these girls suitable for marriage. To date I have turned down 5 girls in this age group that let it be known to my interpreter they were ready to say yes to my proposal. About the same number turned me down. But I do believe it can work or at least it's worth a try. I don't think the odds are any better if I find a 30 year old versus a 20 year old. Divorce world wide is still a little over 50% for all marriages so if I'm going to make a bet on a coin flip she is going to be young and hot. Otherwise I just won't do it. I'm not afraid to grow old alone. I would love to find a beautiful 30-40 year old but this group all have kids already and that is a deal breaker for me. To try and find a lady, attractive and without kids, in the 30ish plus age group is very difficult, they are in short supply but in great demand. A lot of guys, it seems, are searching for this criteria of lady and they are in short supply. One therefore finds that they need to widen the age group that they can accept. However, the 'sugar daddy' scenario is ever more present in FSU than it is in the west and the majority, I cannot say 'all', of these pretty young things 25ish or younger, that can accept a guy until 50ish, well it is more likely to be a financial arrangement than a marriage. She'll provide the meals on the table and the activities in the bedroom etc. but boy it's gonna cost you and the chances of there ever being real love, well such chances will be extremely limited. As Neonred talks of Deano, and I'm sure your aware, with your age and the age of the ladies that you are communicating with you are into 'scammer' territory andeven after your long and hard search, perhaps for years, you could still end up with the 'sugar daddy' scenario. I'm not ready to accept the single mom thing here in the States and to find an attractive (Not model quality) single girl 30 and up is almost impossible. To find a single good looking girl I have to go after the 20-29 age group and they will have nothing to do with a guy who is 40 unless he looks like Brad Pitt or he is rich or famous. Then I discovered the FSU. Just as in the States and even more so I might add the girls in the FSU are usually with a child by the age of 25 and up. That left an even smaller group for me to go after 18-24. The good news is they are more open to it. I have great success getting dates over there but the problem I'm having with this age group is covincing them to live abroad. Yes, You read that right. Each year I'm finding more and more of the girls have no desire to leave their country and live abroad. Many have offered a serious relationship if I was willing to stay in the Ukraine. They were dead serious. If I was rich enough I might have took some of them up on their offer. Yes, I may end up being a sugar daddy to one of them eventually but its a risk I'm willing to take. There are FSU ladies out there, 25 and over, attractive and without kids, you just need to find them and not necessarily on the same beaten path that everybody else treads. They're likely to be in the cities that don't have an easily accessible airport or indeed the countries that are more difficult to travel to, by this I mean some of the 'stan' countries. You definately have the right mentality Deano but all I could best advise is to find ladies older than 24 even if they're only in the 25-29 age group, there's plenty of these out there! Yesterday I sent my last letters to my two girls in Odessa who belong to Amazing-women. They both responded in less than 24 hours. For you newbies out there this is another indication of a scam. Granted it cost these girls nothing to send you a letter through their agency but I know first hand these girls don't have the free time to go to the agency every day to read and write their email to you. It's more like once a week. Now the agency could have called them by telephone and had them dictate the reply but I doublt it. So, if you get a reply within 1 or 2 days it's a red flag. Bottom line is don't use email forwarding. I spent $200 in one month using Amazing-women also known as Army of Brides. If I continued at that pace I would have spent $800 in a few months. When ladies communicate, from the same agency, in the same day can be quite entertaining. In the past I checked full headers and these girls must have been sitting at the same computer together! I met a girl from there though Cindy Agency (Home office in Dniperpetrovks)and I thought my search was over. Do they have many marriage agencies in Zaporozhye? Did you ever see this girl? Svetlana on AFA 69962? It turns out I lost the race between me and another guy from the states. Judging from our romantic and wonderful time in Kiev together I'm guessing I was a close second. :)Just curious if you seen her during your time in Zap. Yes, I know Zaporozhye extremely well, Cindy Agency is another dubious outfit? A guy in his 40's receiving letters from No.9 18 years olds and USD5 to respond should one so wish, yeah right, I was born yesterday! I just had a look at AFA, tried to search that profile but alas I failed, ZP has a population of 1 million so little chance that I know of her. I only have eyes for one lady in ZP :)) I have to say that although she would laugh at me saying it! There are many agencies represented in ZP but I've never seen a sign or office of any of them. I happen to be very closely associated with a ZP agency, my other half is an interpreter there but hey, no commercial advertising and please don't think that is the reason I mentioned small town agencies previously. They have to have just enough real to keep the train running. Hence I took a $200 gamble on two girls. I think I wasted the $200 judging by the behavior and content of the letters I mention in this thread. But they may still turn out to be real. I will find out if and when I return to Odessa. I would like to go in February but may wait until spring. If a person were to use the email forwarding then the one I would recommend is Cindy Agency. Still the best price on the net and they don't charge you to read the incoming mail or to send your photos. Martin don't be afraid to mention a good agency when you have found one. This is what this forum is all about. We mention the bad ones so we should mention the good ones too even if your girl works at one of them. They are located in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Is there other Agencies in Zaporozhye that you guys have heard about??? Currently, I'm am getting information on the All Beautiful Agency, Owner is Helen located in Kharkov. Any experience with email Forwarding with them??? But I used their email forwarding and have no complaints. Of course when you put your profile up on their website you will get spammed with letters from the ladies and I'm sure they are auto generated by Cindy agency. I never responded to them. Instead I wrote to two ladies on their site. Both gave their personal contact information freely. I then invited and met one of them in Kiev and had a wonderful time with her. I lost her to another guy but still she was real and legit. As to All beautiful agency I have met Helen personally. I dated a few of her ladies while I was in Kharkov. I also rented an apartment from her. I feel she runs an honest business. I never tried her email forwarding. If you do decide to go to Kharkov get in contact with me. I'm as close to an expert on the city that you will find here. I lived there last summer and have had four other one month trips there. I love Kharkov. Never seen so many beautiful women in one city in my life. It blows away Kiev, Odessa, Yalta, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. But they are mostly in the 18-24 age group.
