to Deano i agree its not THAT easy.but why do you need a girl who cant speak language at all??? all those relationship with traslators are crap, and it's just waste of time. Also if she is really interested in communication with you, she WILL go to the internet club, or will use the computer at work, or will go friends house every day. If not and she tells you millions excuses- forget it. there are so many really interested girls. About aqua park- sorry- its not Nikolaev, its 25 km from Odessa. You don't have to keep her away from her friends. If she's interested, she'll give you all of her time. My first meeting with my wife was in Kiev, which is far from her home city, Kharkov. The second meeting a month later was in Kharkov and lasted two weeks. During my stay she had classes at college. I rented a nice apartment in the center. She moved in with me the whole time. She wanted me to meet her friends and I met all of them once in one place. They also took pictures of us (for INS) instead of asking unknown people on the street. She was physically and mentally with me at all times. We even studied together and helped particularly in her physics class. We had dinner at her parents twice and once I took all of them out to the theater and then to the most expensive restaurant in the city (in hindsight the latter was not necessary and it might even have come up as a show-off). I asked permission from her father to propose to her before I did so, and both she and her parents appreciated that I did that. We spent 90% of the time in our apartment, the two of us, and we had the most memorable time.

My answer to your question is there are scammers every where but be sure you stay a way from www.heartafire.com they are a scammer site and never what ever write to any one there they just want money. I can give you examples to find on them look up there name on google and you will see

My answer to you on this there are alot of scammers in agencies in the world you just need to research the agency on the web by using google, msn and yahoo if they have scammers or are basicly a scammer site you will know that way for sure, I know one to stay away from www.heartafire.com they are well know scammer agency I have included a list of there e-mail addresses to run. Is Heartafire.com an honest agency in Odessa ukraine or scammer agency ? Gday all i am only new to this and would appreciate any genuine advice from you blokes you seem to have a good understanding of the going ons.I am a young Australian fella and am sincere in my seeking a lady from one of these areas,i must admit its a bit daunting but have done a bit of research and it is getting a bit less terse. I have heard a lot of horror stories and am trying to sought through the bs so if anyone could pass on some experienced advice it would be warmly welcomed cheers

I know this is late ... but in regards to Odessaman's negative response to the agency called Heartafire.com - I can tell you from absolute certainty that it HEARTAFIRE IS NOT A SCAM AGENCY. I believe that he is referencing a site called Jim's Scams.com and this guy Jim is taking money and extorting the companies that do not pay him. I call THAT a scam. How do I know? Because I MARRIED a girl from this agency called Heartafire.com. Also, many friends of ours (Gordon and Olesya from Maryland, Roger and Nataliya from Lakeland, Fla, Tanya and Scott from N.C., Royce and Nataliya from S.C., Yaroslav and Olya from California, Graham from England, Kirk from Texas, and many other friends from as far away as San Diego, Greece, etc., etc...) have ALL been married from meeting people thru this agency and have become friends with them. How can it be a scam if we are all happily married and none of us were "taken"????? Does the agency only try to screw half the clients??? Does the angency select only idiots to be scammed? I think not - rather I think someone ... or manybe a few out of hundreds ... had a bad experience and is now trying to screw the agency. In fact, I tried to contact Jim about this and he gave some BS about his "rules" for appropriate behavior and he said that b/c the agency advertises their girls on other free sites (I call that capitalism), wants the guys to rent their apartments (does not force them - just recommends it as do the girls because they know they are good, clean, central apartments for a GOOD FAIR rate as are their other services - check around prices and you'll see), and that if a guy comes out there and they don't have good chemistry - that the director tries to find other suitable girls (I again call that good business - instead of the guy spending the whole time upset that they didn't hit it off like he wanted). In fact, I'll bet you that "Odessaman" is either hooked up with JimScams or another competing dating agency in Odessa (of which there are MANY) or is somehow in a fight with one of the agencys girls or maybe even the director herself and I can bet you it is personal instead of just a nice guy giving a fair warning. Yeah, right! This is an extremely competitive business and every agency gets some really loving wonderful women and also some crazy girls - same as any city, town, agency or the girl next door . Think about things before you take the advice of anyone. If the girl (of ANY agency) sounds like she just wants to lead you on or seems like she just wants out of Ukraine (less likely of Odessa girls since this city is almost heaven compared to where you might bring her!) or is asking for money - then figure it out yourself. There are tons of great girls out there and also bad, sneaky ones. Take heed, but don't overlook a good agency from the advice of someone who has sour grapes or their own agenda!!!! Hey, I used to live in Honolulu Waikiki but moved a few years ago. :( Anyways, with Odessa - corruption is definately on the rise since the SU breakup into the FSU. :) Just ask the locals -- they'll be glad to rap about it over dinner. My business contacts all told me how rampant it STILL was. The stories go on and on. Usually its some Ukrainian biz screwing over a US biz (majority of the time). Women in Odessa? Yup have to agree with a lot of you. The young pretty ones have seen the oncoming wealth around Odessa and heard the stories of some really rich guy making a pretty girl's dreams all come true. Those are the dreams they hold on to. A lot of the girls I met were what I would consider middle class by Ukrainian standards. I didn't meet any of these girls who live with an entire family in a 1-bedroom flat with no hot water. They are probably around, but it was never spoken of. Yet, other girls are really sincere and just want to find someone to love, because local boys have no way to maintain any type of family they want to have -- but some can -- and do. Lots of these agency girls date local guys for fun, but lots don't. It all depends on the true character of the girl. I'd steer clear of entering the water - even Auckland Bay (New Zealand) where I also lived had severe sewage and water contamination problems sometimes when it rained. With a country as green-as-they-need having that type of prob, I could only imagine what Odessa's water and purification projects would be like. lol!
