I met three very nice ladies when I visited. I had a very nice time with all three and we are friends, but I think the one I most wanted to meet and spent most time with is going to work out, but even now I am not being an idiot. We are going to meet again. She is going to try to visit on a tourist visa. Because of her job it is looking like she may actually get a visa as amazing as that sounds, but if she does not I will visit her again and we will continue to see how things go. I feel very good about things so far but I still am not going to be an idiot. She is a very nice person and we get along very good together. Time will tell if it continues so and leads to a family relationship. Do not send anyone money. Go to meet them and have a nice safe informal meeting in a public place the first time. If it goes well you can go from there. If they do not want this then they are not truly serious and interested in meeting you. Always have several people you are interested in meeting. How can you know that someone is 'the one' when all you have done is write letters? You can only know that from their letters they seem a person you would like and want to meet even if they are real and honest in their letters, but you cannot know or be sure of the real person. How can you write sincere passionate letters to someone that you have not even met? You are writing to a fantasy, not a real person. Nothing can take the place of actually meeting someone in person. There are things you can only know about a person by a real meeting. Even then you must use reason and good judgement and not be an idiot. If they are a reasonable and intelligent person they will understand and want to be equally sure of you and your feelings for each other. If they are not then they are not likely a good choice because they either are not serious and playing you or they don't have enough good sense to be reasonable either. A real relationship is a serious and important thing and not to be taken lightly and rushed. Get to know the real person and find how you feel about each other.
