Started around 41. :) But, I basically don't inquire with any girls, no matter what their age, if I don't fit their age range profile. But, sometimes they don't say, and I inquire anyway. But, I definitely don't keep my age a secrete, and in fact shout it out. Cause, if I'm too old for the girl, it's a waist of my time as well as hers. This was my 8th trip to Ukraine. Odessa is a great city to take a girl for a nice romantic get away together but is a waste of time to meet a girl for future marriage. 90% of agencies there are just scamming email forwarding centers. Tal is right. Odessa and Kiev girls in general have no intentions of leaving their country for the man of their dreams. They have everything they need right in their own cities. Those that do agree to date you are just in it for the money or gifts they can get out of you or the fun and entertainment. Use Kiev and Odessa as a romantic get away with a nice girl from somewhere else. That is what they are good for. As Tal points out the girls you will see walking in the street, sitting in the cafe, or in the discos will blow away what you see in the agencies. Oh! Before I forget. Girls with children in the agencies are a whole different story and this post by me does not apply to them. I'm talkling about the women 18-30 single with no kids. Tal you worked for the wrong interpreters. My interpreters had no problem introducing me to the beautiful girls on the street. We called it fishing. I meet 80% of my girls this way. But alas I still failed. You can catch these girls but they are difficult to keep. Being non-agency girls they never considered the serious decision to marry a foreigner. When they think about it they get cold feet and run away. If you are fluent in their language then you would be the King. You could then compete with the local Ukrainian or Russian man. The language barrier is the single most difficult obstacle we will face when persuing our mission to meet and marry a Ukrainian or Russian girl. Bottom line guys is this well is almost run dry. To capture a young girls heart and convince her to marry you and move abroad is getting more difficult every year. The failure rate will only increase and the the Tal55 story will be repeating itself many times over and over again. Yes, I get 10 times the dating action I would get over in the USA but to take it to the next level is the difficult part. The business itself will still thrive due to so many dumb guys buying into the chance of meeting these girls from the agencies. But as always when you finally buy the ticket and tell the girls you are coming they suddenly stop writing. Or shall I say the agency stopped writing. They milked you as long as they could until you are about to arrive. Time to move onto the next sucker. Will I ever return? Only if I'm fluent or if I'm rich. Whichever comes first. Thanks for confirming my perceptions, and I thought at 4 trips to Eastern Europe I was an old hand. :) And, I agree with your additional points. I wish I had tried some fishing! Unfortunately, I guess even that doesn't work too well. Fluency was my conclusion as well for the best chance of landing that very good looking single woman under say 32. Yes, when you buy the ticket and tell them you are coming, the girls scatter like a fox in a hen house! :) I agree with Deano's final conclusion. 1) Rich, and 2) Fluent, are the two absolute best characteristics for obtaining that top girl. And, if you're rich, you don't need to restrict yourself to Ukraine. :) You can then select from Europe itself. A little bit of humor there. But, it is getting harder guys. It can still be done, but it takes planning and forethought.
