(one turned out to be a known scammer(of which i discovered...not Fiance.com)
Surely this cannot be true because Fiance.com tell you to feel safe and secure using their services because, quote, 'We verify every russian lady and agency registered with us.'
Yes, during my relatively short and previous subscription to Fiance.com I entered into correspondence with a number of ladies, quite a number of ladies, and despite my politely asking not one of them would provide an email address, everything had to be done via the agencies.
Other guys have posted previously that my experiences were not perhaps the norm but I can only speak as I find and in my personal opinion Fiance.com and/or their associate agencies are, so to speak, pimping these ladies.
I, for one, would never travel to meet with a lady who I do not atleast have a, proven, telephone number of and an email address of. The email address would allow me to do some simple background checks via a search engine and what if I should arrive and we not find each other, we can't even telephone without numbers.
And then there is also the danger element, I/you could have been corresponding with a group og gangsters, I want to be as sure as I can be who I may be meeting with.
But as Olegnay says, if you don't like it then you know what you can do, were you aware of Olegnay's expertise in the field of customer relations? All the market leading websites in this industry provide email addresses, Fiance.com prefer to 'prostitute' their ladies, if you want to cyber (only) with her then it's USD30.00 per month and if you don't like it, yes, thank you Olegnay :)
Martin,
last time for you: we do not revel personal information. our members see who has private email who is with agency. if one doesn’t like agency he can correspond only with private emails we do not reveal personal information of our members in their profile, like it is on any personals site. so your accusations are nonsense. we do not 'prostitute' anybody on the site. did your heard what I said earlier? give your email to anybody on the site it is your business. do it in your private messages.
delta, what policy is wrong? one more time - fiance.com is normal/regular personals site. like any others. if you read our forum this subject has been discussed many times. you as member of fiance.com has all tools to communicate, and figure out who is who. nobody will do it for you. fiance.com doesn’t sell anybody, or anybodies' information, not men's, not ladies'. your are the same member as ladies are. read their forum on the ladies side of the fiance.com site
http://www.naidimuzha.ru/forum/forum2.asp see yourself that they have the same problems. they are tried of sex travelers, not serious men, and those or posts from ladies using fiance.com system.
so it is real world, take your own responsibilities. we verify 10 times, but we can not get to somebody’s mind. and as you know we have 24X7 support for our members, ask anything to help you in communication, we will help.
Olga,
It is not a problem for 2 people to exchange email addresses should they choose to do so, if one grows tired of the other writing then they can simply block or 'spam button' the other.
The point here is that email addresses of your ladies are nigh on impossible to obtain becayse the agencies are effectively holding them as prisoners. You claim to be like any dating/personals site but you are in a very different field of the industry to, as an example, Yahoo Personals.
Indeed according to your homepage Fiance.com is categorising itself solely in the Russian 'fiance and/or bride' field and in this field, compared to the majority of the competitors, you are not like these others, you are holding your ladies captive and prostituting them for USD30.00 per month.
You discourage personal email contact, despite what your homepage says, because then the guy will have no further need to pay you USD30.00 per month.
You say that ladies are tired of sex travellers, good that they have a blacklist, now go and read some of the other blacklists and read how many guys have detected criminals, scammers, by their email address, IP address or telephone number, exchanges that Fiance.com discourage.
I rest my case ..... for now :)
agency must provide contact information of the lady if she is asked in the messages , and if she doesn't mind. most of the ladies from agencies do not have private emails.
anybody who feels that the agency is blocking that information should report to admin, and we will stop working with that agency. My point is the we are on teh same page with you. I repeat again, we would have stopped working with agencies now, but they still provide good service to thousands of ladies in former USSR who do not have internet access. I rest my case.
Well Olga....this is not the first site i have tried...in fact i have my profile on Elena's model's and on that site i can obtain not only email address but more importantly phone number and personal home address....sure it cost's money, but the cost is much LESS than Fiance.com...i have been scammed(attempted) by many so called women with only email address'es...email information alone is not enough!!!!!!!!!!!!...just as an attempt to scam me here was made...One policy that spring's straight to my mind that need's OVERHAULING at Fiance.com (as you asked Olga)...is the policy Martin describe's..."all our women are verified"...if you actually adopt your policie's i would not have had my experience...so would you like me to go on about your other policie's that need OVERHAULING????
I dont want an email address...please get this clear...i want to correspond with a real person...specifically a woman who has a house and phone...not much to ask for really!!!!
I suggest you adopt a good business policy used by reputable business....that is one of honesty!
Please forward to me a copy of the so called letter written to the so called agency on my behalf about my queries...you could post it here for all to see if you want to start rectifying the mistrust your current procedure's breed.....please also display the current policies you have with these so called agencies....i seriously doubt they even exist...and i would like to be proven wrong please.
To add further Olga...fiance.com is not like "normal/regular" site's....other site's offer many service's like fiance.com...they just dont demand all their service's are used to meet a person..or even phone a person..
I hope we are all adult's here...i certainly am....what i ask for is simple and straight forward..
Martin share's very accurate information about using this service in it's entireity...to arrive and meet a gangster!..and if you are a Russian citizen Olga...i am sure you are well aware of your countrymen's dishonesty and corruption concerning these site's and meeting ladie's.
Sure the women are sick of "sex tourist's" etc...to put themselve's on a site to "MEET" people and not supply contact information is outright ludicrous and a total contradiction to the use of such a site.
I know fiance.com has all the tool's and know how to rectify my problem and that of other's...i challenge you now Olga and fiance.com to come clean and drop the pathetic excuse's and justification's for maintaining the status quo...they have worn very thin with me in a very short time.
Hi Martin...here's a thought..."how about you and i apply for administration job's at fiance.com"...maybe we could make the difference that is required to convert this site into much more than it is today...lol
Here is my last letter to the lady of my interest...i think it apt to share this with the masses in order for other's to see how the procedure's of fiance.com and their agencies unfold on two mature adult's looking to find each other in the real world.
Hello Elena,
thank you for your letter and the time to write.
It has been an eventful week since i last wrote to you...
I agree with you...we understand each other and there exist's a fear of misunderstanding's too.
It is honesty that lessen's my confusion and any chance for misunderstanding's.
And you know i will be only honest with you ....so what i say now is both awkward and uncomfortable...yet it is honest and must be said now!
I have pondered the possibilities of meeting you in reality ....and as much as i would desire this....i can not accept the fact we will only ever be letter friend's in this virtual world of word's.
I proposed a question to the forum about "the agreement" you have with your agency to withold personal detail's.....the feedback was not positive or encouraging at all....even the feedback from Fiance.com suggest's your agency has been warned against such practice's......with one comment being "her agency is pimping her" (a horrible thought to me....though none the less a possibility to me)
I must ask you personally....."how do you expect to meet someone in "real" life if you have an agreement to never disclose contact detail's through an agency used to "meet" people?.....are they your plan's and expectation's you have that i am not aware of.... or just not privy to?....i do recall how happy you are with your agreement with your agency....i just wonder if you are aware the agreement prevent's you from actually meeting real people....
and if you are aware of this condition.....i have made a very big mistake and wish to apologise for wasting your time.
Anyway....Fiance.com has written to your agency(apparently) to remind them of their obligation's in this situation...and remind them they have been warned about this type of practice(apparently).......then they propose a letter be written to you if your agency is not forth coming....either way your agency will likely intercept this incoming mail and mine....then delete what they see fit to delete...and allow what they deem fit to allow......and i am reminded of the fear's i shared with you in my first letter about the problem's an agency bring's to a relationship.....and so it has become. "Two's company....three's a crowd"..(there is no substitute for my past experience's with so called "agencies"...their activitie's the same and similar.... my frown)
I like you very much Elena...more than i care to say here and now.....yet the premise of never meeting you in reality .... the premise you will only remain word's in a virtual world.....lead toward's a conclusion of mis- trust about who you actually are in reality....who am i actually corresponding with.....am i even corresponding with a woman?....or a staff member in an office?....or an employee at an agency?.....or a child at home with computor experience?........i honestly do not know.... and this fear of unknowing is destroying any trust and faith to write to you as i have been to date.....
I have done my best to understand you and your desired situation with agency control in your life....now i hope you can understand me and my situation...
my hope was to first correspond.....then to phone and converse....then to finally meet in reality!....perhap's my hope's were expectation's and they are too high for other's....to me they are logically the most basic and simple hope's and expectation's of any relationship on a global stage....
If your agency allow's you to read this.... and you care to reply to me...i will welcome it....and if you have taken offence to my honesty and do not wish to reply....i understand.
Sincerely,
Sean
oh..and while my keyboard is running hot Olga....if you verify 10x and still scammer's get profile's posted on your site...do you not think that either 10x is not enough ,or it is 10x too much based on a totally ineffective company policy for verification?...either way...10x is totally ineffective and you can not deny or justify away my personal experience with this.
So you could add this to your list of policie's that need attention immediately.
"ask anything to help you in communication,we will help"...is what you said Olga...so i have asked for your help and it has not been forth coming...i am looking for tangible help...not more virtual suggestion....i am a man who value's action's high above word's...there have been enough word's written here already...so let's see some action!!!!!!!!!!
Delta,
Olegnay and myself have communicated quite a bit by private email in the past, suggestions have been made by both Olegnay & myself and, in a way, I believe a mutual respect exists.
But every business has to move with the times, just imagine a pop star such as Elton John or Madonna trying to do the same stuff today as they did perhaps 20 years ago, they wouldn't be around today and unless a business, any business, moves with the times then they will not remain in business, people with stop buying their product.
You made mention of Enena's Models, in previous years I have communicated with Elena Petrova, she's a very helpful lady and she has built her business as it is today based on building her reputation and long may it continue.
Fiance.com have nowhere near such a respected reputation as Elena and they never will have with such a 'closeted' product as they have, similar to Yahoo Personals but to the best of my knowledge Yahoo Personals do not charge USD30.00 per month.
You suggest becoming administrators, no thanks, if I were to run or develop an FSU dating site, indeed I am involved in a Ukrainian dating agency, then it would be very different, totally different, to fiance.com. Indeed the proprietor of the Ukrainian agency I am involved with trusts me, when I tell her one particular aspect of her agency is crap then she respects me for being so honest, she doesn't tell me that if I don't like it then ......
Olga,
No, only a proportion of dating sites charge for membership, the majority of FSU marriage sites charge for membership but that is not you is it Olga, fiance.com continually proclaims to be merely a dating site despite referring to Russian brides and having a title of fiance.com.
Olga, you do not read, or undestand what I said probably. Read my posts.
martin, you are the best. please fogive me for all my mistakes:) enjoy our forum. fiance.com means fiance.com it doesn't mean russian brides. wait as we will remove russian brides focus from the site very soon:)
