If I don't know what websites you're referring to then I can't go and alter them. This is, really, the only FSU forum I post regularly on with just an occasional post on RWG, if there is anything else our there, that is current, then, as I say, I believe it is a case of mistaken identity. Ask yourself this question, in all the posts I have made on this forum over the past 18 months, and you know that there have been a lot, have I ever even hinted that I have been looking for a lady or that I am not married? To me, the only reason why one would say or brag that they are married, when they are not, would be to rub others faces in it. Whilst I make occasional references to my marriage and/or my wife do you appreciate that I have never even mentioned my wife's name on any forum, that's how much I 'brag' about it! I commented on the topic of socials in the past in threads that you did not post. Do not flatter yourself by thinking that I am waiting on a keyboard day after day for that precious moment that you will start writing a new novel so that I reply to it. I choose very few topics that I read solely based on the topic title itself, not based on who writes in that particular thread. If you don't like constructive criticism, then why do you post? on the expectation that people will pat your shoulder? you started for probably the 25th time the same old topic of socials knowing very well that this is the very wrong place to do so since the people who come here are letter writers because fiance.com is predominantly an introduction service not a social tour company. How many people answered the questions that you posted about socials and the like? On the topic, there is a difference, which unfortunately you cannot recognize, between writing a first letter to a number of women and going to see only one. I do believe, an honest woman would desire and expect a man to make the trip to see only her. Letter writing and speaking on the phone for a period is necessary to provide evidence of compatibility before an expensive and time consuming trip is made. Letter writing and phone talking do not guarantee chemistry between two people. This is something to find out during your visit. The first time you see the other person after weeks or months of letter writing and phoning, you will know whether she's the one. I do not believe that most people steer away from socials because of the up front cost or the ridiculous intimidation factor (meeting a new woman::)) that you mentioned. Americans are intimidated by the idea of a foreign trip anyway, so going organized would be much more appealing. Further, Americans are lazy when it comes to organizing vacations, etc., so again going with a tour company would be more appealing. However, most choose not to do so, for the very same reasons that I chose not to do so, which is: GOING ON A SOCIAL IT IS A MECHANICAL, UNROMANTIC, AND UNAPPEALING TO LEGITIMATE WOULD BE BRIDES (HOPEFULLY ALSO UNAPPEALING TO LEGITIMATE WOULD BE GROOMS WHO CAN SEE BEYOND THEIR NOSE) WAY TO MEET A SPECIAL SOMEONE TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. P.S. Fiance.com even conducts its OWN private tours for people who want to meet face to face (the way noncowardly folk, unlike yourself, tend to). Therefore, it is perfectly natural to mention and advocate TOURS on this forum. I realize that you aren't especially bright Trav so I understand why you don't realize that this forum benefits from BOTH venues of meeting. But it does.
